Jay lead the path and both of them walked a few steps and were soon inside a new cabinet. The desks, laptops, chairs, even the flower pot was polished clean, spotless. A laptop and a beautiful lamp sat on her desk right next to some files. The desk was facing a window with a beautiful view of the outside world. The adjacent walls had off-white and grey stripes. It was insanely beautiful. Lia was shook to see her new workspace, she had never had anything like this in her previous internships.

"Hey! You good?", Jay snapped his fingers.
"Oh yes sorry. Just zoned out. So this is where I'm gonna be working?", Lia giggled with her brows raised in question.
"Yessss and....it's right next to the boss's office so you know, look out for yourself cuz he's a son of a *coughs* bleep", Jay winked.
Lia chuckled but was deep down nervous too. Working in such a huge and reputed company meant that there was no room for mistakes, plus the Boss's office was right across her cabinet so practically, she was due for disasters.
"Okay so I'm gonna head out because Mr. Godwin is gonna be here any moment, see you around. Good luck", he V-signed at her and walked out of the cabinet.
"Adios", Lia smiled.
Lia was now left alone in her new work cabinet. "Uh... Where do I start.. Okay maybe I'll start by sorting out my schedule? Or maybe I'll start with these files? Yeah Right", Lia scratched her head as she looked through the pile of files kept on her desk. "Wow this is gonna be interesting", she muttered as she saw the huge pile of files right beside her too.
Lia was occupied in sorting out all the files kept on her front and side desk. It was more than a dozen files but they were very careful binded and sorted in an ascending order of importance.
"Jeez these people are fancy", she whispered looking at the perfectly coordinated order of the files. "Looks like I'm gonna be busy for the next couple of hours", she clicked her tongue.
"Hey Mr. Godwin!", a faint voice screamed. "Good Morning Sir!", another woman called out. "Good Moring Sir!", and soon the whole crowd of staff stood up and said in a chorus.
Lia snapped out of her work mode and walked out of her cabinet to see everyone standing and giving their greetings to a young, tall, and devilishly fit gentleman. She couldn't see his face, he was standing at a distance from her with his back facing her.
"Hey! Hush. Who's this?", Lia mumbled at another coworker standing next to her. "That's our Boss and the CEO of this company, Mr Ryan Godwin", the coworker responded in a hush tone.
And seconds later, that man turned around, Mr Ryan Godwin aka the man Lia protested against earlier today at the road, leaving her in absolute disbelief. "HE'S THE BOSS?!", her eyes widened with terror and astonishment. The state of shock became the strongest impulse of her being in that moment.
