I got up early to take a shower now that I was back home my dad wanted me to go back into his office building and start working there. I took my shower and did my daily hygiene.
I went into my closet to get my suit and my tie and then I went inside my secret closet that had a gun department inside. I grabbed my gun and put it in my lower waist behind my back.
I was looking forward to today because I know what I had planned for Zara was gonna make her happy.
My dad and I haven't spoken, we've just been saying hi or bye every here and there. I laid back down in my bed for a while. Then I got up to enter my house office to get everything I needed to take with me to the office.
I packed this cute picture of Zara and the girls I took of them on Christmas. And while I look at the pictures I hold it tight just realizing how I almost lost them and how blessed I'm to have them.
I gave the things to Rob to take to the car and I walked back to the dining room to wait for breakfast. That's when I saw my mother.
"Good morning baby," my mom says as she kisses my cheeks.
"Good morning mother, I wanted to talk to you about Zara, she has shared some concerns to me on how you haven't been very welcoming. Don't you sit here and tell me you haven't because I saw it on the first day she got here, if you have a problem with Zara then you have a problem with me, Do I make myself clear," I say as I look at my mother who was sitting across from as her widens.
"Yes son," my mother replied.
Shortly after I saw Kiya walking toward me and Zoey running toward me and behind her was Zara.
"Good morning Jessica and Mrs.Rosssi," Zara said as she got seated.
"Good morning Roman," Zara says with a bright smile shyly looking away. Her voice sounds like music to my ears.
My cheeks started to get red from all the blushing I was doing looking at Zara as I bit my lips at the innocent look in her eyes that wasn't innocent.
"Umm has anybody seen Michael?" Zara asked, moving her head around to look for him. That's when I stopped smiling. I sigh out loud and shake my head.
"Good morning family," my father said as he entered the room. I had a blank disgusted look when we made eye contact.
"Hey, Zara, can I speak to you in the Conner real quick?" My father asked while grabbing her from the table. I saw them wispier in the Conner and I saw my dad laughing.
I haven't seen my dad smile or laugh since before I got sent to the military. Something was different with my father this time.
My mom and I make eye contact while we look at my father and Zara have a conversation in Conner.
Why did both my brother and father want to take this woman from me like I don't already have Zoey and Kiya trying to take all her time?
Later that day I still haven't seen Michael at home or at the office. I was going to look for him but six years ago he told me that it's his not my responsibility and to leave him alone.
