Chapter 35 :

POV: Zara Nizerimana

Last night Roman apologized and I got to feel his touches again that me feel safe or feel Like I was floating on clouds.

Kiya ended up staying in the Roman room while I went back to my room.

As I get up I start the shower as I brushed my teeth with my robe on. After getting out of the shower I did my face care as I turn on the warm water for Zoey to take a bath.

"Good morning baby," I say as I remove the blanket off of Zoey.

"Good morning Zee," Zoey says in a low sleepy voice. As she struggled to get up this morning so I ended up doing everything for her.

I make my way downstairs holding Zoey's hand as I see Michael standing at the door. Zoey and I run to hug him.

"Michael," both me and Zoey scream in sync in joy.

"Hey girls, I missed you too," he said looking at me and Zoey. "But I'm not home to stay I'm leaving again...work," Michael says as both me and Zoe smile's drops.

"I'm sorry ladies come here let me get another hug before I head out," Michael says hugging us as he walks out the door and waves goodbye.

I walk up with Zoey to the dining room to see Roman and Damien entering Kiya trying to see who made her laugh harder. I hear someone with heels on walking up as I turn around a see Sevin wearing black heels, with a biker jacket and black leather pants.

"Good morning baby," Sevin to Zoey as she kisses her cheek.

"Good morning beautiful," she says to me as she winks walking past.

Romans get a call before I can even say good morning to him. "What... Bring him here Now," Roman said in a low angry voice. He hangs up the phone right away as I stand in front of him waiting.

"Good morning gorgeous," Roman said kissing my forehead as he puts his phone away.

"Good morning baby," I say smiling making him smile as well.

"Did you see Michal?" Roman asks as I nod in response.

During breakfast, I noticed none of the twins talked much but Sevin she gonna talk about anything, Zoey left for her classes while we stayed to talk.

"Sofiane's best man is here maybe we can get answers about who has been stealing," Roman said looking at his brother.

"I just got this new knife and I love to see blood on it Sofiane blood on it," Sevin says doing killings tricks as she shows case her new pocket knife as she smiles.

"Roman I been called dips on Sofiane I got this new machete with a gold handle and it's so cool I go to sleep knowing Sofiane's blood will be on it soon," Damien says smiling imagining what he will do to whoever Sofiane is. I'm convinced they are all sociopaths, and nothing can change my mind.

"Hey, Zara you okay?" Roman asks me as I sit in the living room zoning off.

"Yeah I have just been tired lately," I replied.

"Okay baby," Roman says kissing my forehead.

"Well tomorrow it's this important event and I need to attend, I'll love for you to be my date,"

"Of course, I'll love to be your date, soo how important are we talking?" I ask as his eyes widen trying not to look at me, he starts to scratch the back of his ear.

"Roman what are you not telling," I say turning my head to look at me.

"It's important because it has other people with money, and most people have the same job as me," he says looking at me as I nod my head slowly.

"But you won't have to worry I'll be by your side the whole night, okay I promise nothing is going to happen," Romans say reassuring me as I smile again.

"Plus I'm going to have the best date in the room because my woman knows how to dance," he says as he places a kiss on my hand.

"Is that right Roman, so I get to see your dance moves," I say looking at him in those brown eyes that made me scared of him but safe. He winks at me as I playfully roll my eyes.

"Can I ask you something, and I'm going to need you, to be honest with me?" I ask Roman as he hum's in response.

"Did something happen between you and Jessica?" I ask Roman as he nods his head, this makes me sit up from the couch.

"I asked was there something going on and what you said " it's nothing, I promise," you said that you remember saying that," I say as I scoffed.

"Zara it wasn't nothing we just kissed," he Says like it was nothing.

"Kissed," I say exaggerating.

"Yeah, and I stopped it... Zara, I know who I want and that's you, and if I have to tell you that every time I will," he says reaching for my hand as I slap it away.

"When did it happen?"

"We weren't together... when you were sick," he says sitting on the couch with his head turned to look at me.

"Ooh, so you were out here kissing girls while I'm sick in bed worrying if I'm pregnant or not," I say getting up from the couch heated.

"Zee, daddy," Zoey say walking into the living room as Roman smile with his hands open for a hug.

"Hey baby...come here," Roman says as Zoey runs to him with her hair bouncing.

"I'm going to my room... I need a minute," I say walking away from Roman and Zoey.

Later that night I walk towards Roman room as I knock on the door waiting for him to open.

That is when I noticed he maybe didn't want to talk to me but before I can even walk away as I turn I noticed Roman walking to me he looked sad.

"I'm sorry," Roman says, "no baby I'm sorry," I say as I walk up to him.

"I love you Zara Nizerimana."

"I know Roman shit I love me too a lot of people love me," I say trying to not make eye contact. He places my head in his palms as he stares into my eyes I feel my heart beat faster.

"I'm for real I love you, I'm in love with you... there is no other girl Zara it's just you only you." Roman says as his voice sounds like a whisper.

"You love me?" I ask with my smile.

"Yeah, I love.." He says as I cut him off to kiss his soft lips.

"I love you too like I'm so in love with you," I say as we make eye contact.

He picked me up as he get the keys from his pocket to open his bedroom door.

He pecks my lips and starts to place slow kisses on the crook of my neck. His lips were so soft he made sure to always put Chapstick on every here and there if he remembered. I start to remove his tie as he stops and places me down I whine "umm I haven't kissed you in forever and that's all I get," I say in shock as he starts to laugh.

"You're a greedy little slut.. yeah that's all you get goodnight," he says smirking as he shuts the door in my face. I feel my heart drops I was hurt and mostly really hurt because he knows how sick he drive me crazy.
