Be prepared for death~

Y/n's POV:

"T-that's it?!" Konohamaru asked out of shock and confusion. Giving him a blank I nodded, the said kid just sighed shaking his head before whispering for Snot-nose to get the next person. "Okay, then I guess your free to leave..." he replied and so I left to find my team, which didn't take long as I could sense Gaara nearby two smaller chakras.

Upon finding my team, they all gave me weird looks that questioned where I was, shrugging my shoulders I walked over to Gaara who walked away from me and further towards the gate. This confused the hell outta me but I kept quiet and just walked over to Temari and Kankuro. They also looked confused as Gaara never acted hostile towards me.

"What's his problem? He was even glaring at you... Did the two of you have a fight?" Temari asked, Kankuro also seemed concerned by the look on his face. I sighed and shrugged before replying.

"I dunno, he's been acting like this just before the first exam, and I have no idea why he's being like this." I answered, concern spread throughout my features as I started to overthink all the reasons and possibilities that would lead to him hating me.

"Don't worry too much, we'll give him a piece of our mind if he continues like this... we'll maybe not me.... Hehe..." Kankuro said evilly before glancing at the glaring Gaara and suddenly loosing the balls that he grew to talk about Gaara like that. He can't be that scary.

"Nah it's alright, he'll come around... I hope.." I said, though the hope was slowly draining in my mind.

I glanced over to Naruto who had a big dopey grin, even though his teammates didn't seem so happy. Emo-chiha was glaring at him before turning his glare to the ground.

Finally after about an hour of Anko talking, a quick break and snack to regenerate our energy, everyone was heading to a gate with the rest of their teammates. They all had a scroll between the team that was hidden within each group. We had an Earth scroll and Gaara was carrying it in his ninja pouch covered by his clothing. Temari and Kankuro were exchanging looks of fear and uneasiness with the upcoming challenge that towered before us, so I walked over to them to share some words of wisdom. All in all I know that they pass this exam because Gaara fights Sasuke in the final exam, and Temari has to meet her soon husband to be... well let's hope not too soon.

"Don't be so uptight, looks like you've got your panties stuck in your a-" I exclaimed before Temari hit me upside the head and shot me a glare whilst Kankuro snickered to himself but stopped as soon as he saw the look on her face. Gaara still wasn't talking to me but I could see the faintest smirk on his face which he quickly switched to a scowl when he noticed I was looking in his direction. I returned it with a sly grin as I knew he found me funny, but he just rolled his eyes and turned his glare to the ground. Sighing I turned back to the others who were bickering and then figured I had enough of it so I changed my focus to the gate that was before us, revealing the dark and dangerous forest full of Man-eating plants, and soon genin who had their minds set on becoming chunin, most even willing to kill.

I was starting to feel nervous as in the show, I'm not a part of this world , meaning the author could just kill me off in this arch T-T
Well this was fun y'all....

There was a leaf chunin or Jonin in front of the gate keeping an eye on us whilst we waited for the exam to begin, before he started to unlock the padlock keeping whatever was behind that fence, behind it. As the padlock and chain dropped to the grass below.

"Alright, Listen up you maggots! The second part of the Chunin exams has begun!" Anko yelled over a microphone so every genin could hear. At that moment, the gates burst open and everyone bolted in as if they were running to get into an air conditioned room on a hot day.

Gaara took the lead and I was at the back, with Suzuki keeping an eye out for enemies, whereas Kankuro and Temari were at the sides forming a diamond formation. I just hoped Orochimaru would let us be, and he'd only go after Naruto, Sasuke and trash bag (Sakura).

A few hours went by since the test begun and a civilian team from the leaf had tried to fight us, but it seemed they hadn't heard of Gaara before, so they had the pleasure of being crushed to death by his sand coffin. Annoyingly they didn't have either scroll, it seems that they already had to fight another team and lost. Oh well, sucks to be them.

We continued to head towards the middle of the forest where the end of the exam was. The reason we were heading there was because that's where the other teams would be heading if they had any brain power. Also when we get our scroll we won't have to risk it as much as we are near the end of the exam, which lowered the chance of it being stolen.

Throughout the run there, Gaara hadn't said a word other than agree with my plan that we head towards the middle. It was strange as he always talks to me... or maybe the other way around, but whenever I try approach him he just glares at me warningly which was starting to tick me off. Even Kankuro and Temari were giving looks of concern.

Oh whatever, I'll just sort it out when we get back home. I thought to myself before coming to a realisation, when we get back
, Gaara would be elected for the position of Kazekage. Then I'll barely see him with all the work he has to do. Then he'll just forget about me...
