Meeting with Konohamaru

Y/n's POV:

"What are you lookin' at you little punk?!" Kankuro lowly growled into the child's face whilst keeping a grip of iron on the back of his shirt. I sighed whilst using my senses to try pinpoint if Gaara and/or Sasuke was here. Not yet but Sasuke will be here soon, he's near the veggie shop, probably buying his favourite food, tomatoes.

"Oh come on now Kankuro! What if Gaara sees! He won't lay a finger on y/n but what do you think they will do to us huh?!" Temari yelled out nervously, her words laced with annoyance at her younger brother. Kankuro scoffed but his eyes didn't prove his overconfident attitude. Fear showing in his now widened eyes.

"Tch, this little brat walked riggght into me, it's his own fault that he's in this mess! And besides... it's just one little kid, I don't think Gaara will care all that much. He is the ruthless demon of the sand after al-" Kankuro said bravely but was cut off by my arm firmly around his throat as he began to gag from lack of air, and dropped Konohamaru with a thud and Oof from the child. He started struggling in my grip before I let go turning him to face me with a glare on my face.

"Gosh y/n, I didn't mean it! Damn you're the ruthless one..." he announced, muttering the last few words under his breath trying to make sure I couldn't hear him. Although he underestimated my hearing. As soon as he stopped I kicked him in the junk. He kneeled over in pain and shock before giving me a pained expression as he groaned and fell to his side crying in agony. I sent him another glare and he shut right up.

Suddenly I heard a swish of leaves and branches, that would be Sasuke. "Why hello there, Sasuke Uchiha. Care to join us instead of hiding in the trees like a coward?" I let out through gritted teeth and a small smirk. I really don't know how the others couldn't tell he was there when he was making so much noise. Okay okay fine, it was hardly loud and I was lucky that I even heard him.

Sasuke then jumped out onto the closest tree branch to us. I could sense another chakra forming near by. That must be Gaara teleporting near us. I doubt anyone else could sense that he was here. I only could because I knew his specific chakra and could sense where he was if Gaara was within 100 yards of me. But for some reason, only Gaara, probably because of his massive amounts of it being a jinchuriki and all.

"H-how did you know I was here?" Sasuke asked bewildered. His eyes wide as if he just saw a ghost.

I sighed and then the heap on the floor got up and began to speak for me. "Well you see, my teammate here, is tied with Gaara to being the most efficient and powerful genin in the sand, if not, the entirety of the village! Much stronger than you." He butted in with a smirk. I then appeared behind him and slapped the back of his head. "H-hey! What was that for! I was complementing you! Honestly.... Girls these days..." I chose to ignore the last comment and sent him yet another death glare. He quickly backed away after that. Sasuke looked even more confused and skeptical than before.

"I am Y/n, these are my teammates although Gaara will be here soon. I knew you were here because you can't move silently and I heard you. If you are wondering why I know your name, it's because I learn the names of my opponents before I actually meet them." I hissed at Sasuke. Naruto then began to waltz in, squinting his eyes at my team trying to figure out who we were.

"Huh?.... Who are you guys....? I haven't seen you in the village before... Oh hey Sakura! I was about to get ramen, s-so you wanna c-come with me? It can b-be a d-date...." Naruto mumbled before exclaiming his opportunity towards the Pinkette. She nearly gagged and began to shake in fury. Upon seeing this, Naruto began to cower in fear.

"NARUTOOOO! You little brat! I don't want to go on some stupid date with the likes of you! O-oh b-but Sasuke if y-you wanna g-" Sakura yelled towards Naruto before punching him on the top of his head. He started yelping in pain and rubbing his now bruised head. Sakura was then cut off by the one and only Edge lord Uchiha.
