Tough decisions

Y/n's POV:

"Ahhhh Yes!! The latest volume of Naruto Shippuden! All mine for the taking!" I said aloud whilst opening up the fresh pages and beginning reading. During the time of waiting for the crossing lights to go green, I was still reading it with a massive smile on my face.

At the sound of the green arrow, like everyone I began to cross the road, still with a book in my face. Let's just say, I've had practice with this skill.

Unbeknownst to me, there was a speeding driver heading straight for us. This is one moment of a few that I wish I wasn't in my own little world and instead paying attention to my surroundings. I could have avoided this moment.

I'm sure you could guess what happened next, screams of terror and fear filled my ears but I wasn't fast enough to avoid the head on collision. And then BAMM! All I saw was darkness. I couldn't feel anything, no sort of pain. But I couldn't see or even hear anything. Just, nothing. A sea of darkness. I must be dead... closing my eyes and accepting my fate, memories began to flood my mind, or you could say, my life flashed before my eyes. All the good, the bad and the ugly. Everything started playing as if it was sped up. I then felt the sensation of falling, falling further and further away from life. Too bad I couldn't finish that book. It had a good first chapter at least.

I open my eyes I was in a different place, everything was white, no sky, no ground, just white. "So it has come to this has it?" a voice said, it sounded like silk and was the most beautiful voice I'd ever heard, apart from my favourite character Gaara, Because DAMN! Wait.... What did she mean by that? It was like she knew what happened.... "I do know what happened... You were hit by a car, crossing Rhodds street, the busiest in town. Am I correct?..." the voice almost whispered. WHAT?? SHE KNOWS WHAT HAPPENED AND READ MY MIND!? I am so confused right now... what is going on and where am I?!

"Now I am sure you are wondering what is going on and where you are" she sighed, I swear in this moment I looked the most shocked as to what was going on. " well to answer that question y/n, you are in the white room, why? Because you died and this is where dead people go to see where they will live eternity or if they get a second life. You my friend are lucky, you have a choice between them. Well we are going to send you to a new life regardless but we were wondering if you wanted to go back to your life. At the moment your corpse is laying in a hospital bed with a nurse beside you. Your mother had heard about the incident but hasn't made any move to see you. Sad isn't it? Well anyway, theoretically we could bring you back to that body. Or there's the other option.... A brand new life in another dimension." The voice explained.

Wait... new life? What did she mean by that?

"I am positive that you are still confused but let me assure you that this is the only way and that if you choose the second option you will be reborn as a human baby but in a different dimension, although we can't tell you which one because that is absolute top secret, all I can say is that it's somewhere where you have been wishing to go to." The female voice called out with the sound of a literal angel, like if you recorded an angels voice this is what it would sound like.

What is a place I have been wishing to go to though? Did they consider heaven a different dimension? Because I am positive that I have wished to go there... strange...
It was either return to my previous life... or start a brand new one.

I glanced around the room before my eyes fell onto a humongous white fluffy cat?! I gawked in shock, of course the cat was beautiful but DAMN I didn't expect that! "I know you are wondering why there is a large absolutely GORGEOUS fluffy cat standing here talking to you but you will find out in due time child."

"Well yeah actually, but if I'm honest it's not all that weird considering where I am. Anyway to answer your question, I think I'll choose the second option, it seems like the best choice because I don't really have anything to live for over there..." I muttered, making sure to whisper the last part but she obviously heard me, I mean she can read my mind.

"I understand your decision, although know this, after being born you will have the same memories as you do now and also hold a tremendous amount of power considering this is your second and last life meaning there will also be a chance that you won't make it to the after life and roam the earth forever. So be warned" I nodded my head as a tiredness began to overwhelm my body again and my eyes began to shut, I wanted to protest but I didn't have the strength for it, so I accepted my fate.

Suddenly there was a bright light and I began screaming, what was going on? There were many people around me as I lay in someone's arms. She was a woman with light rust coloured hair and green eyes. There was a man next to her while she was in the bed, a man around the same age as her with black hair and brown eyes staring lovingly at me, these must be my new parents then.

I look around the room and notice the uniforms that the nurses have on... the same as the ones that helped to save Kankuro when Gaara was captured, well isn't that a coincidence...

A sudden scream brought my thoughts back to reality. A woman was screaming, most likely another child was being born, I watched as a lot of doctors ran out of the room. "Quick! Lady Karura's heart rate is dropping!" One of the running doctors Said. Wait.... Lady Karura? Like The Sand Siblings mother?... no no! This has to be a coincidence... right?
