Chapter 11: Anniversary in Met gala charity.

"Thank you, Irene." He uttered in the middle of their snuggling.

"Para saan?" She replied and looked at him. He turned and looked back at him with their fingers intertwined with each other and he said, "You make me so happy."

A smile grew on her lips, she was certain that she felt the same for him. "I've never been very happy, ngayon lang ulit." She responded and stroked his face with a gaze like she's so fascinated of his existence.

"Alam mo nung nag away tayo, sabi ko wala na. Last na beses na akong magmamahal. Feel ko  hindi na kase tayo magkaka ayos hindi na ako makakaramdam ng pagmamahal ulit, alam mo yon? someone will love you everyday, almost everyday someone is obsessed with you, and sometimes you will laugh just because of a person who is with you everyday?" She shared still looking at him. "Tapos ano ka? Babaero na malaki ang tiyan." She jested.

"Sobra ka naman, yung mga babae naman humahabol sa akin hindi naman ako." he chuckled. "Pero crush na kita noon Irene. Noon pa." He reminisced. "Alam ko naman halata naman eh!" She claimed making them laugh.

"Hindi pa nga tayo magkakilala noon ng husto, gusto mo na agad ako maging asawa." His cheeks turned red "Back then before we met in the event sa TernoCon gusto na nga kita iuwi eh."  He shared, "Ah kaya pala papansin ka doon napaka yabang mo." She added.

She was completely aware of how much interested and obsessed he was to her before but she never liked the idea of being so easy so she kept herself reserved and waited for him to exert much effort to win her before she let him know she liked him too. It was actually one reason why he was serious about her, she was different from the other women, not just because he was the billionaire CEO that time, she would just give into him. But her not easy to get turned upside down, when he surprised her of the announcement that she will become his wife. All she could wish now is for him to stay obsessed and in love with her.

It was their anniversarry today and they will come into a met gala charity dinner.

"Sandali lang ha I will just took a shower sa itaas."

"Mabuti naman pumayag si Elvira and Patricia na iwan sa kanila si Alfonso dito sa bahay." She added.

"Mga mahihilig yan sa baby kulang na nga lang yan mang dampot sila ng mga bata sa mall eh." He jested.

It was 30 minutes now but still she was not yet go downstairs.

"Ang tagal naman malapit na mag one hour." He uttered.

"Ano ka ba nag aayos lang yun ganyan talaga." Patricia said.

"Oh ayan na pala eh." Elvira stood up while looking upstairs.

He watched her go down the stairs with her venus green satin gown, his eyes filled by her elegance and beauty. She walked towards him with a bright smile on her lips.

"Ok lang ba?" She turned around to show him her whole look. He held her hand and kissed the back of it.

"How i could not be inlove with you?" He asked and carefully gazed at her. She pursed her lips and walked closer to him, "Gusto mo talaga malaman kung pano?" She asked, he shook his head 'No.'

"No i'd rather choose to fell inlove with you everyday." He replied cockily. She pinched his nose and chuckled, "Ang yabang!" She followed. "Let's go?" He asked.

"Yes sure" She replied making him smile. He kissed her shoulders that showed up with her draped venus green satin gown.

She extended her arms and shook their hands as they greeted them. One of the male guests took her hand expressed his immense interest on her.

"Hi, good evening." She greeted. "Good evening to a very beautiful lady." He replied. "I'm Alejandro  Zobel. Nice to meet you Irene Marcos?" He sustained.

"Yes Irene, nice to meet you." She continued and shook his hand. "Ms. Irene a very beautiful lady," he kissed her hand. She smiled awkwardly, Greggy had no problems with men admiring his lady, it was normal to him as she was undeniably charming and beautiful.

"Thank you, I'm actually married," she draped her hand on Greggy's arm. "Gregorio is my husband" She continued and looked at him. "Oh," Alejandro uttered. Gregorio looked at them and tried to catch up.

He held her hand back, he just couldn't help but blush whenever she proudly tells the people that she is his husband.

Alejandro Zobel was staying in Spain so he is clueless in everything of what's happening in the Philippines and on his fellow businessman.

"Sorry, I just thought your wife is beautiful." He remarked lightening up the mood. "It's okay, i am immuned everyone in the crowd greeted her, she is a head turner. Very beautiful." He replied and held her by her waist

"Sira ulo grabe ka naman " She replied.

She playfully tapped his stomach. "Mamaya maniwala si Mr. Zobel sa'yo" She followed.

"Sorry, he loves telling a joke around." She clarified.

Bringing a woman as pleasing as Irene has been a bragging right to Gregorio. A woman that it makes men's head turn was his woman, he couldn't ask for more.

"Greggy i am a bit shy here." She confided by whispering onto his ear. "Why?" He asked. "This event doesn't suits me bakit hindi mo naman sinabi na parang pang royalty pala to." She held his arms tighter and tried to cover herself with his body.

She always felt small, she was the prettiest girl in the room but she never felt pretty enough every time they attend a public gathering. It's not that it's true but she was just that humble and insecure.

"Irene, you are the most beautiful woman here." He held her chin and gazed into her eyes. "Sila nga ang dapat mahiya sayo." He followed trying to cheer her up.

She smiled at him, "You always make things easier for me." The anxiety on her eyes began to fade away, he never fails to make her feel at ease. She smiled at him and pressed her head against his arm. His presence was her home.

They enter the banquet hall everyone was too stunned on her beauty.

"Nakita mo nagtitinginan sila sayo ang ganda mo kasi." He uttered.

"Ano ka ba Greggy." She slightly smile while holding his hand.

Bea was also there together with her brother.

"Hey happy anniversary." She greeted and make beso - beso  to the two.

"Thank you so much Bea."  Irene and Greggy replied

"Irene you look so stunning today dinaig mo pa yung Queen of Spain." Bea said.

"Ano ka ba isa karin eh no nahihiya na nga ako dito eh." She cooed.

Irene was clueless that Greggy will give a speech in the event she was left in the table together woth Jaime and Bea.

"Before i end this speech i would like to greet my beautiful wife, my queen, a happy anniversary, Irene i am very proud of you and I love you." He ended his speech with a sweet greeting to Irene and people start to applause and gave all the attention to Irene. Greggy approached him and kissed him in the cheek. "I love you darling happy anniversary!." He said.

"I love you too Greggy happy anniversary." she replied.
