Carl and I looked at each other and said " We won't do it again." Then she hugged us and told us it's dangerous alone.

Carl POV
"Well that wasn't the real plan was it?" I questioned looking at the one who dragged me into this stern talking to.
"No, it wasn't the plan. Do you have a new and better plan?" Y/n said looking at me.
"Well no not really, but we can ask Sophia maybe!" I yelled running towards my other best friend.
"SOPHIAAAAA!"
Y/n and I yelled running- more like sprinting over to where the poor non-able to hurt a fly girl stood. Me, Sophia, and Y/n started making the plan. Not like the one where we would kill walkers, but one where we would convince the adults we are just as strong as them. How can we do this you may ask? I don't know ask Y/n and Sophia they mostly made this plan!

Y/n POV
"Carl, how many times do we have to say this."
"THATS THE OLD PLAN!"
Me and Sophia yelled at the foolish boy.
We are making the perfect plan, that is if we execute this plan perfectly and to perfection. If we don't this may be the worst plan ever! "Okay, listen up everyone. This is part one of the plan. Get a squirrel and kill it. Not literally just make it seem like you did." Sophia said looking at all of us kids. Forgot to mention the other kids in the group by the way. They aren't the best at remembering but that's perfect for our plan and they can remember that one rule. Never ever everrrr, not know the plan. That's something we all made up. It is a great plan and perfect for our small hands to get dirty, kinda.
"Carl and Sophia, You two are working on finding bait for the squirrels and remember, don't hurt them just put them in a sack."
"Just like Daryl?" Sophia asked me.
"Just like him." I said smiling wide. "Now you two need to distract the parents while they set up the traps or bait thingy." They just nodded and smiled, and ofc I said good luck to my fellow workers. "Now time for my part of the plan." I smirked feeling like a evil villain just like in tangled. I ran and pretended to trip into the woods, which it felt like I actually hurt something not enough to kill me or anything like that. But it was perfect to make Lori take her eyes off Carl and Sophia along with Carol and Shane. Carol and Lori kept asking me how I was and Shane was busy working on how to prevent that from happening to someone else. Perfect. "I'm okay I just tripped is all." I said smiling weakly to make it seem unconvincing. When they looked at my scratches I winked at the two siblings and they signaled Carl and Sophia to make their moves. This was going perfectly, just like we all planned. "Honey what were you getting from over there?" Carol asked looking at me with curiosity. Uh-oh I DIDNT think that through! Think of somethingggggg! "Oh I wanted to see if I can charge my music pod." I said looking for it in my pockets, then I pulled it out.
"Oh sorry but you can't charge it hun. We need the power and gas in that car just in case." Lori said petting my head. "Yeah sorry Dear, although it would be nice to jam out right now, we have to make sure we are prepared for anything." Carol said getting up and dusting off. She's gonna look for Sophia! The plan was if something ended to early we would cough loudly. So that's what I did and the two siblings who distracted the other adults ran past Sophia and Carls spot Coughing loudly. And went back to the adults, then Sophia and Carl came back with more than enough squirrels. The siblings stood there a little longer to make sure they put the stuff in the tents and hid them. And so did I, we waited like a minute then ran around and started "playing". "Y/n, we got plenty to make this plan way better than original!" Carl said with a whisper yell. "Good job team! This will definitely help, you all did a great job cheers to a perfect plan!" I said grabbing a box of cookies from my bag. They all started clapping and laughing, yelling. You know what kids do when they are so happy and having fun.
Skipping to after the plan was fully done.
"Why do our plans always come up to a stern talking to?" I sighed loudly. "Maybe it's because we don't execute them perfectly?" Carl said looking around at all the other kids. "Nope that's impossible we put the plan perfectly, we just didn't do it on the right day." Sophia pointed out the non-obvious thing. One of the siblings also pointed something out, " Or maybe we just don't know what they think? We know how kids our age think, but not them." The oldest one had a huge point! "Yeah if we find out how they work and think we could maybe figure out how to convince them!" The younger one said. "You guys are geniuses! They know how we think. That's why they aren't convinced, so if we make them think something different then we can know how they think!" I said lightning up new ideas and sparks. But then it all went downhill when we had to leave. We got attacked and Amy was killed, so was Sophia's dad. But it seemed like Carol was relieved. Scary to be honest. But that's when we had to say goodbye to the two most smartest yet quietest siblings. Sophia and me cried about it for a few hours. When you spend such a long time with someone you relate to kinda makes you cry you know. Carl and me drove in the same car obviously. We fell asleep until we came to a rough stop because of the road. It was blocked be so many cars. Me and Carl went to look in the cars to find something to help us, and the group. Carl opened a door and saw a set for like hunting and survival stuff. "Cool a hatchet!" Carl said smiling while observing the hatchet. "Carl look they have a machete!" I said looking at the sharp yet awesome item. That's when a heard of walkers were coming our way. We hid under a cars, me and Carl hid under the same car. He put his arm around me to make sure the walkers didn't see us. After most of the walkers left Sophia got out to fast and two walkers were still there. Sophia screamed and ran into the woods.I was gonna jump out from under the car to help her but Carl held me down cause Rick told us to stay put. I was scared so I held onto Carl, if something happened to her I would never forgive myself. A few hour passed, then it was days. Then a full week passed by it seemed. Carl went with Rick and Shane to go hunting. I went to find Sophia with the rest. That's when I beautiful girl on a horse came up to us asking for Laurie. " Yes I'm Laurie, who are you?" She asked stepping forward just enough to stand her ground but not threaten her. " Are you Carls mother?" she asked Lori. She nodded and the girl on the horse said that her name was Maggie. And that Carl was shot. I stood there in shocked until Lori hurried onto the horse and kids dragged me out of my shocked state. Saying to stay with the group. Ofc I didn't listen after a minute I ran in the same direction the horse went and that's when I saw a gate after a few minutes. It was a farm. I jumped over the fence and almost tripped but I kept running Rick and Shane must've seen me yelling to me, asking what I was doing here. Along with Lori but I pushed past them and ran next to Carl. I grabbed his hand and started crying. Not daring to ask what happened, I knew I would get angry and right now Carl doesn't need me to be Angry. He needs me to be calm.
