Meiling was all excited as today she was about to start her third year at business school Mingde along with being in a project, held under one of the top economist of the world. She was really looking forward to it.
She ran her hand through her hair as she went through her bag and checked whether all the things she needed were there or not. She kept one last hairpin in her bag, and decided to head down for breakfast.
Kevin was already there at the table, scrolling through his phone, "morning" she said as she smiled and sat beside him. "Morning" he replied back with a smile and continued scrolling, a moment later he put down the phone, and turned his head to face her, "jie, I'm going to my friend's house today, I'll not be straight home after school." Hearing this made Meiling happy, she was glad her brother had made some friends already. "Okay, that's nice, but please still come home before it's too late. Oh and have fun." She said smiling.
"Ha ha, I will, I will, don't have to tell me twice"
______________
Meiling was all set for her new classes and she was quite excited as the professor himself selected her and now she had to prove her worth. She was just going through these thoughts as she entered the classroom and saw someone she didn't expect.
Or she did expect but the thought never passed through her mind.
F4
Why did she have to say yes to professor that she'd join the third year? Oh Meiling.
She silently cursed herself as she made her way to one of the empty spaces, as she was keeping her bag down she was getting many stares and was able to hear several whispers and feel the glare Ah Si was giving her.
"You can't sit there miss." There he was, standing by the seat and her way.
"Why I don't see your name written here."
Ah Si took a threatening step towards her as he bent a little as he let out a lowly whisper, "why, do you want me to write on it so that you'd understand it?"
Meiling knew that she was supposed to stand tall and talk back to him but she couldn't help feeling a little intimidated by it, she brushed the thoughts aside as she took a step closer, "no, you'd just ruin it, you know with your name probably, the seat is so much better like this without you or your name on it."
She smiled as wide as possible, walked past him and without further ado, sat down leaving a fuming Daoming Si behind.
"Hey! What do you think you're doing, get up from the seat!" Si said banging his hands on the table, Meizuo and Ximen came forward to stop him from doing further damage to himself or to the property while Lei just stood there an unreadable expression as always.
Meiling had enough.
She clenched her jaw tightly as she said, not getting up from her seat, "Listen Daoming Si, the next time you do something like this you'll find yourself in the office answering to the Dean or find yourself tending to your wounded pride and certain parts of your body." Several others standing there let out collective, "oh"s and a few laughed. Meiling smirked as she swayed her head away and started opening her books.
By this time Si looked as if he was going to burst any minute and he lunged forward only to be tackled by Ximen and Meizuo, "AhSi stop it people are watching." Ximen said
"And a few are recording" Lei said looking around.
Meiling just let out a sigh of relief as professor Yin entered the classroom, she knew this little scene in the classroom was going to cause trouble later but she didn't mind, she wasn't one to back down either.

Later,in the cafeteria
Meiling was sitting all by herself in the cafeteria, with her tray on the table, she usually had to eat alone except the times when Shancai and Qinghe were there with her, but today the two were nowhere to be found.
She was just about to eat the dumplings she had gotten when someone literally slammed their hands on the table with a sound "bang" which shook her up and her chopsticks fell from her hands, she looked up only to find Daoming Si.
Not loosing her temper she said, "is this a regular thing you do? Slamming hands on school property?"
"Get up."
"Excuse me?"
"I said GET UP!"
Meiling was honestly a bit frightened when she saw only rage in Si's eyes, however she stood up, "what's your problem AhSi?"
"Get. Out. And don't ever show your fave here again."
"You don't get to order around." Meiling said, her tone firm.
"Get out at once. Or you'll regret it."
By this time everyone in the cafeteria was watching and Baihe and her friend were recording too. Where were Shancai and Qinghe? Meiling could see from the corner of her eye that all eyes were on them and she was exhausted by being treated like this.
"AhSi, stop it, stop bothering me, I haven't done anything-"
Before she could complete her sentence AhSi slammed her dish onto her.
Meiling was covered in dumplings, juice, ribs, sauce and lettuce all over her face, neck and dress, she couldn't believe that anyone would ever do this- she felt rage and tears in her eyes,
"what have I ever done to you?"
She asked her voice slightly breaking as she tried to control her tears
"You're a monster you know. A parasite."
She left saying the cafeteria saying this not even glancing at him once
She was walking past the hallway when she bumped into someone, probably the last person she'd wanna meet.
"Hey, what happened?" He asked in a soft tone, and Meiling looked at those curls that and his eyes he looked concerned but he was one of them and that was it she didn't wanted to be associated anymore with the F4
"Huaze Lei, why don't you ask your friend there?" She said as tears ran down her eyes, without saying anything she left ignoring the looks she was getting.
