Ch8: Whatever I do is none of your business

If someone told Meiling that she was going to one of the most prestigious universities of the world for Econ, she would've agreed to that, since her academic and career trajectory were always inclined and on a way up ever since she had started schooling. However if one told her that she'd cause major trouble in school she'd laugh, but eventually agree to it since she wasn't shy of doing mischief. But this time, things had taken a huge turn for her. Meiling had never been on the receiving end of embarrassment which she now was a subject to. Never had any one in her life talked to her like Daoming Si did. Never had she been ignored at the music practice before by others. Be it her contemporaries, her seniors or even the parents of those kids who sometimes came to watch them practice and perform, they all talked to her, even cheered when she played a song or tune too well. However here at Mingde music school there was this guy who didn't seem to care at all. Huaze Lei. The one and only. Who ignored her as if she was a wall and walked right past her anytime she and him had a few milliseconds of contact.

Meiling was so furious. She even felt dejected by what had happened at the campus cafeteria that day. She wanted nothing but to go and cry in arms of Jin Ri who was nearly some thousand miles away at the moment. So instead she took the second best option available at the moment. With a very heavy heart, head( because her head had hurt like crazy) and bag( Meiling carried all sorts of books with at least a dozen bookmarks on them along with her laptop, charger and powerbank in case she didn't find a outlet or a socket to plug her charger in) she decided to leave early that day and spend time bubble bathing in the serenity of her own home here, even though she had lectures after lunch. As the last thing she wanted was to even be in a 20 mile proximity of the F4.

Meiling was just cleaning herself up in the girls room when she heard someone come in. Not wanting to be disturbed or wanting to face anyone at the moment, she collected her things currently laid out on the vanity which consisted of a cleanser, some rose water and wipes putting them in her bag turning around only to find Baihe with her friend whose name she never bothered to learn. Meiling ignored them as she made her way to the outside when Baihe all but suddenly jumped in front of her blocking her way.

"Why? Look who's in a hurry", Baihe said giving one of those ugly mean girl chuckles and it took all of the strength in Meiling to stay normal and not do something that Baihe would have a tough time recovering from.

"Out of my way. I have no time entertaining you today.", Meiling said and moved to the other side, when the other one of Baihe's friends jumped in front of her, blocking her way once again.

"Did you not hear what I just said to your friend over there?? Now get out of my way!" Meiling exclaimed her eyebrows furrowed clearly showing that she was irritated with the fact that no one was letting her go home to her favourite space after an already hell driven day.

"Oohh someone is angry", Baihe said, twirling her hair around the finger, "Seems like your brain didn't comprehend what happened in the cafeteria today. Firstly wasn't the humiliation by AhSi already enough for you, that you still have got the guts to talk like that?" she continued as she freed her hair from her fingers, and crossed her arms over the chest.

"Huhh" Meiling scoffed, "I don't think I owe you any classification, but if you talk to me like that ever again, I'll make sure you kiss your degree goodbye."

"Oohh look a nobody is trying to threaten us into having us kicked out of school. That sounds so scary omg.", Baihe gestured with her hands and rolled her eyes.

"Anybody could threaten you to remove you from the school with that attitude of yours, now if you don't move I'll clearly tell the principal and your administration's head about you harassing me in the bathroom. So if you wanna save your asses, I suggest you better move. NOW.", Meiling said, she didn't know how much more clear she could make. She couldn't take it anymore, today exhausted her, and while she would've loved to teach a thing or two to these girls, today was not the day for it.
