Ch7: Do you like her?

"Huaze, Lei why don't you ask your friend over there?"

That was what she told Lei before she stormed out of the halls with her jaws clenched. Honestly it wasn't entertaining watching her drenched in all kinds of sauce and if he was not wrong a dumpling that was resting on her shoulder along with lettuce spread over.

He wondered if this was something AhSi did, because if he did, Lei wanted to stop him. This was not tolerable after all Lei wanted his friend to behave and atleast have decency.

Lei also wanted to talk with Mei Ling, apologize about being rude to her earlier, normally Lei didn't care about anyone else or what anyone else thought about him, but this time he atleast wanted to make her realize that he wasn't a bad person.

He walked over to the cafeteria and saw people suddenly whispering, he spotted Daoming Si sitting alone and made his way over to him as they definitely needed to talk.

"Ah si, did you do that Meiling?"

"Huh, did what?" AhSi scoffed under his breath

"I'm asking you a question, did you do that to her?" He asked him his patience thinning out.

He scoffed again before he stood up and looked at me, "Stay away from her Lei, she's not worth at all. She's been telling shancai all kinds of nonsense it'd be better if you don't pay her any kind of attention. I don't want her getting to you."

Lei was done with it. "Why can't you just answer the question!"

"YES I DID THAT TO HER! Is that what you wanted to hear? Mind you she deserved it. Now let's go to class"

Saying that AhSi tried to move forward, when Lei pushed him by the shoulders, sending him two steps back so that he was again facing Lei.

"Jerk."

"What did you just say to me?"
Daoming Si looked threateningly at Lei also surprisingly as he was astonished by Lei's behaviour, surely they called out eachother but that was purely all fun, this time Lei was looking angry and so was AhSi, afterall he had no idea what prompted Lei to do this.

Lei looked into his eyes, took a step forward, right in front of AhSi, "Stop it AhSi. Stop troubling them. Both Meiling and Shancai. I mean it." Saying that Lei stormed out even though he heard AhSi calling him at the back.

"Did Lei really do that?" Meizuo asked AhSi as he, Ximen and AhSi all three of them were in the bridge room.

"He did. Had the nerve to do that."
AhSi said, rage in his eyes, still not happy his friend treated him that way.

"AhSi cool down, let it go. What you did was not deserving at all." Ximen said from behind

AhSi fumed at this, "why don't you tell Lei about this! Shouldn't he be the one you should be telling this to?? What did I do wrong, plus I thought Lei didn't care about other people's business. What's wrong with him? Must be that girl."

"Her name is Meiling. Don't speak like that AhSi."

All three heads turned as Lei entered the bridge room. His face again looked all calm and expressionless very contrary to the Lei in cafeteria.

"Lei, what did you do? The whole campus is talking about your unseen form. The one that isn't like you. Wait are you still our Lei?" Ximen said as he chuckled moving towards him

"Lei seriously what prompted you though? I'd really do the same in that situation but it would be me or Ximen, you on the other hand simply wouldn't care about it." Meizuo said tilting his head so that he could see Lei.

"Enough!" Daoming Si said looking at Lei
"AhSi" Ximen said, probably hinting him to calm down and not do anything rash.

Si took long strides towards Lei when he was finally in front of him before asking, "Lei, do you like Meiling?"
