It was lunch break at the university you worked at you were one of the three English teachers at the school. You were currently making your way to the staff room to retrieve your lunch what was a avocado and chicken salad. You arrived at the door of the staff room you noticed that someone was already there you could only see the back of the tall figure but you guessed it was Louis you recognised the neat dirty blonde hair. You opened the door to see you guessed it Louis you two didn't really talk much just exchanged smiles when you walked by one another in the corridors or the quiet "hello's" you would exchange to one another in the staff room but this time was different he was standing in front of the mirror what was placed against the wall holding what looked like a bra to his chest he noticed someone had walked into the staff room and caught him. He quickly turned around bra still against his chest you looked at him with a small smile "hi Louis" he went pale he looked like he just saw a ghost "y-y/n I'm so sorry I don't know what I was thinking it was in miss Johnson's bag and I just-" you stop him he was just digging himself a hole at this point "Louis I don't care I'm just here to get my lunch" he looked at you shocked "wh-what" "I don't care what you wear Louis but maybe don't wear it at work and especially since it doesn't belong to you if you ever need someone to talk to I'm right here" you walk past him making your way to the fridge taking out your salad. You make your way back to the door to go back to your empty classroom "also Louis your secret is safe with me" you give him one last smile as you leave the staff room luis just stands there not yet fully processed what had just happened he's shocked after a few minutes of him standing in the now empty staff room trying to think of what just happens (except from him) he hears the door of the staff room open again "hey Louis I almost forgot to ask you but do you want to have lunch with me?" Your voice breaks him from his day dream "yes, yes of course let me just grab my lunch" he goes to the fridge grabbing out a clear plastic salad box and making his way over to you. You both leave the staff room making your way to your classroom walking down the long empty corridor the only thing to be heard was the footsteps of you both luis finally breaks the silence "thank you y/n" you look at him confused "why are you thanking me?" "for back at the staff room you could have told the principal I could have gotten fired" "well I didn't" "but why y/n I don't understand why you didn't" you laugh a little before replying "because that's what friends do for each other."
