Present~ (riddler/ sadfluff)

It was another rainy day in Gotham even though it was 2pm it was still dark the only thing to been seen was the bright billboards and the flashing lights from cars. You were on your way to Arkham asylum to see your boyfriend eddy or as people call him the "riddler" he is what caused this mess the flood and the new high rates of crime you knew he was the riddler from the start of your relationship. he told you on your guys second date and you tried to be as supportive as possible but it was hard. Nobody knows your the riddlers girlfriend they don't even know you guys know each other if they did you would probably be locked up as well and that was the last thing eddy wanted as you walked down the loud streets of Gotham you patted your pocket to make sure you had the Polaroid pictures they were dumb but cute you know it will put a smile on eddy's face. There was 5 in total 4 of them are just pics of you and him 1 is a picture of your cat Riddle. Arkham was a long walk away almost 1 hour but you liked the walk taking in the scenery and the typical Gotham weather. when you finally arrived at the doors of Arkham you had to go through a lot of paperwork and security to make sure you weren't trying to smuggle anything in but when the hell was over you finally got to see your eddy. You followed the guard through the quiet hall way of Arkham he finally stopping at a door what read "203" he unlocked it and it revealed a long line of screens you quietly said "thank you" to the guard as he walked off you took a seat at one of the screens waiting for eddy you played with the necklace he gave you on the first date you it was a red necklace with a red gem on the end finally you heard the sound of a chair squeaking from the other side of the glass you look up to see your boyfriend eddy you give him the biggest toothiest grin you didn't relies how much you miss him until you both reunite again he say down in the plastic chair "hey Ed how are you" you say gently giving him a sympathetic look even though he is a bad man you still feel sorry for him. "Hey hunny I'm good what about you, how is riddle?" You laugh a little "I'm glad, he's great he got took of those meds that the vet gave him" "wonderful how has it been without me please don't miss me to much I will be out eventually" "yeah I know I just can't help it. Riddle misses you he started to sleep on your pillow I uh guess it reminds him of you" he smiles at you " you know I love you right" he says softly "yeah of course I love you too is everything okay?" You say with concern in your voice "yeah hun everything is fine I just don't think I tell you that enough" you watch his play with the bottom of his shirt you just sit and admire him it was a nice silence you both were just happy to see each other even though you couldn't touch each other you were glad to talk to him. You were pulled out of your silence when you heard a firm knock on the door and a deep voice say "5 more minutes" "shoot it's been 25 minutes already Jesus" you say with disappointment he doesn't say anything just gives you a small frown god it hurts your heart to see him like this "oh wait I almost forgot I know this will cheer you up" you say as you pull something out of your pocket he looks at you curiously at what you are getting out of your trying to find it was the 5 little Polaroids you slide them through the little window at the bottom of the glass as he flips through them he smiles "wow thank you love" he says. The door behind you opens as a guard comes through "sorry but that's time up" you look at eddy for a last time for the next few days tears building up in your eyes "bye eddy I love you" "I love you to hun"
