Lisa's Pov

I was stuffing myself back into my pants when I heard Jennie yell for me. I quickly got up and made my way to the door where I saw the look on Jennie's face which already gave me bad vibes. "Babe?"

I went to Jennie's side and stopped dead in my tracks. "What the actual hell are you two doing here?"

"Now Lalisa that is no to talk to your parents." My bitch of a mother opened her mouth "We heard from your cousins that you are getting married...again."

"Not that it's any of your business but yes I am. Is there anything else you wanted?" I asked impatiently, the sooner my parents left, the less damage they could do.

"Well since you're asking, we would like to come in and discuss a few things with you." My father said and it was then that I noticed the briefcase in his right hand, hiding behind my mother's body.

"I don't think that's a good-" Jennie placed a hand on my chest signaling me to stop talking. "It's ok babe, let's hear them out. Please come in we can talk in Lisa's office." We stepped aside so that my parents could come in.

"Jesus Lalisa, you have a house this big and don't have any staff to clean up after your children." My mother said as walk through the house to my office.

"I don't need anyone to clean up after us, we can do that ourselves." I opened the door to the office and motioned my parents to sit down.

"Pour me some scotch, daughter."

"Father it's 11 in the morning, I'm not giving you any liquor. Now what is it that you two had to come all the way up from Bangkok that couldn't be sent in an email?"

"Straight to the point, just how I taught you." I wanted to make a comment but held back since I was ready for this to be over and done with. "Well your mother and I are planning on retiring soon and want to make sure we have all our ducks in a row before we do so."

"And why is that our concern?"

"Well since you are our only child, we wanted to make sure that our two grandchildren our taken care of."

"Three actually and soon to be four." I said while pulling Jennie to sit on my lap. "Jennie and I have a son, Luca, and we plan on having another after we get married." I could see the wheels turning inside my father's head trying to figure out how to handle this new information.

"And how old is this boy?"

"He's four, same age as Louis." Jennie answered while turning our family picture around on my desk for my parents to see. "He looks just like you when you were that age. Can I meet him?" Mother asked.

"I don't think that's a good idea right now. We should get this over with so I can go back to my family." My parents nodded and my father pulled out documents and put them in front of me and Jennie.

"These numbers are subject to change due to the fact of more grandchildren we didn't know about. As of right now we have two accounts set up for Leo and Louis and I will talk to my accountant about two more. Since Leo is the oldest he would of course be able to access his sooner and we would like him to spend the a couple summers with us so he can be trained to take over the company."

"Let me stop you there." I held up my hand so my father would stop talking. "Leo is only ten years old and you want to start training him to take over a company he might not even want to be a part of? What if he decides that he wants to be a professional basketball player instead of a businessman?"

"Well he wouldn't start training with us now obviously but once he turns fourteen he should. Since you decided you wanted nothing to do with us or the family business we need someone to take over with the Manoban name and given he is the oldest of our grandchildren it should be him." Mother said like it was common knowledge. "We just want the best for our grandchildren."
