Lisa's Pov

"What do you think of a destination wedding"

"Say the word and we'll get married where ever."

We had been looking at wedding venues all day and now we were having dinner at small cafe facing the water near my office building.

"Oedo Island looks beautiful." Jennie was on her phone scrolling through her Pinterest. "Lemme see."

I took her phone and began scrolling through the pictures of Odeo Island. "Wow, we should so get married here."

"Really? Because if it's too expensive then we don't have to."

I almost laughed at her saying the word expensive. She knows I'm one of the most richest people in all of Asia yet she still doesn't like spending money. "Baby, you know I will pay for whatever you want for this wedding." She rolled her eyes at me before aggressively eating the salad she ordered.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing Lisa." She said sarcastically. "Jennie..." I went to speak but she cut me off.

"You know if I wanted a sugar daddy and someone to pay for every little thing I have, I would've married some old dude that's about to croak. Not you."

"Jennie I don't understand where this is coming from. I don't mind buying things for you if I have the money for it." I reached across the table to grab her hand but she put her hands in her lap out of reach.

"You're not getting it Lisa. I don't want to be a trophy wife. I make my own money and I like to save up for the stuff I want to buy myself not have you just buy it for me."

I seriously don't understand why she's acting like this. No one I've ever been with has had a problem with me buying them stuff. "But why save up if you don't have to? I like providing for my family and I shouldn't get scrutinized for it."

"So you want to be the sole provider in the family?"

I gave her a slight nod. "I don't see why not. I make millions of dollars a year and the least I could do with it is pay for the place my fiancé wants to get married at."

"So you're telling me that if were up to you I'd just be some house wife, taking care of the kids then letting you fuck me into submission every night when you get home form work?"

I rolled my eyes at her still not understanding why she was making such a big deal about me paying for the wedding. "I never said that, but if you don't want to work and stay home and raise our kids then that's fine."

"Seriously Lisa? I'm not like every other bitch you've been with that when you say jump they say how high. I'm my own person and until you get that through you're thick skull we will not be getting married."

She got up from the table with her her purse and began to walk away. I threw down some money on the table before running after her. "Jennie stop!" I caught up to her and grabbed her wrist before she could cross the street to the where our car was parked. "Can you please just stop for a minute and talk to me?"

"I'm done talking Lisa. Everything I say keeps going in one ear and out the other."

"Jennie..."

"I don't want to talk anymore today. It's late and I want to go home." Without another word she walked to the car and got in the passenger seat waiting for me. "Fuck." I said under my breath before getting behind the wheel of the car.

The drive home was silent except for the radio playing in the background. When I finally pulled into the driveway Jennie immediately got out of the car and stormed into the house, I quickly followed behind her trying to get a hold of her but was stopped when Luca's nanny came to greet us.
