Lisa Pov

Busan...

"Hey babe, I brought you lunch and your going away bag."

I looked up from my computer screen to see my girlfriend Jiu, of one year, standing in the doorway to my office with sushi from my favorite Japanese place.

"You didn't have to do that, I would've had Dahyun order me something and I could've gone home to get my bag."

Jiu came over to me and sat on my lap while placing the takeout on my desk.

"No you wouldn't have. You work so hard that you forget to eat sometimes. Also I don't want you to be late today, you know how Chaeyoung gets when you're late."

She was right, I've been working too hard and Chaeyoung hates it when I'm late to things. "I can't help it, the company is opening 20 studios this year and it's a lot of stress. Thank you baby, for everything. I still wish you could go with me."

"I know, but I have to go into the firm today. The life of a paralegal."

She got up from my lap, and went behind me to start massaging my shoulders.

"Eat the sushi and let me do this. You have 15 minutes before your meeting with GQ about your fashion line. Now sit back and relax."

"Why aren't you my personal assistant anymore?" I asked her and she leaned down so her mouth was at my ear.

"Because you decided to fuck me and never left my bed for two weeks." I could feel the smirk in her voice.

.

.

15 minutes later Jiu left and I made my way to my meeting. I just wanted to get this over with. I have to jump on my helicopter to Seoul. Today was Louis's fifth birthday and Chaeng would be having a party for him and I offered to pick Leo up from school. Before I walked into the meeting room, I looked over the list of names that are going to be in the meeting when one caught my eye.

"Jennie." I whispered to myself.

No it couldn't be, there are plenty of Jennies in Korea. I walked into the room with my head down, acting like I was still reading the names, but I was praying that it wouldn't be her.

"Hello Ms. Manoban, thank you for having us." Joshua Hong, head editor of GQ magazine, said to me as I sat down.

When I finally looked up my heart dropped. It was her. The women who still haunts my dreams. Jennie Ruby Jane Kim. I cleared my throat before speaking.

"Please call me Lisa." I could feel her eyes on me while I talked to Mr.Hong. "It's my pleasure to have you here."

"I hear it's your son's birthday..." Out of the corner of my eye I see Jennie go still for a second. "So I'll just make this go quick. We would like are new fashion consultant, Jennie Kim to help you pick the outfits that are going to be in the spread."

I nearly choked on my own saliva when her name left his mouth. "I'm sorry?"

"Jennie Kim, right here." He pointed to her and thought I might die in my seat.

"O-ok, sure." I stuttered when our eyes met for the first time in five years. It felt like all of the memories we shared punch me in the face.

"Well that's it. We'll talk again in soon." Joshua got up and shook my hand before walking to door and leaving Jennie and I alone.

"How are the boys?"

Her voice, her sweet, sweet voice. I didn't realize how much I missed it until now. I couldn't take it, I felt like I was suffocating. I needed to get out. So I ran. I ran so fast to my office, that by the time I got there I couldn't breath.
