"𝕲ood morning mother, father" The young royal greeted as she entered the velvet throne room, where her parents, king Adar and Queen Cyra sat waiting for her.

"Morning dear" her mother replies hugging her slender daughter of whom was some inches taller than her. Her purple orbs met with her daughter's ruby ones.

"How are you, Pina?" Her father asks scanning his daughter from afar.

"I'm doing well father" she replies. Although Arpina didn't look much like her mother, in terms of physical appearance, they had the same soul. Her father on the other hand, she was a striking image of.The Same dark hair, red eyes, round lips and tall physique. Infact, some would say she was the female version of her father, but ironically, they had very different views on a number of things.

"You requested for me?" The princess asks.

"Ah yes. Well darling, we all know you will be the Queen of Cyrus soon, and although you know most of what is expected of you, we still have to remind you of some little details" Cyra explained to her daughter.

Arpina looked at her parents in confusion. Since the day she could walk she's been trained as a future queen. She knew every rule and law, and with the help of her ever loving bookworm best friend, had mastered every spell there was to know. So she wondered what would possibly escape her knowledge.

"Okay then. What is it?" She asks intrigued. Her mother looked away hesitantly, she hated being that strict parent, but her husband and her had had a deep conversation on why this was important.

"Although the main position of power is the queen..." She began.

"Yes?" Arpina replied, the slowness of her mother making her anxious.

"A-and ofcourse she could rule a kingdom on her own..." Her mother stopped again. Her father rolled his eyes growing impatient of his wife's hesitance.

"We need you to get a groom fit to be king as soon as possible" her father blurted.

Arpina froze.

"E-excuse me?" She asked in disbelief.

She couldn't believe they were having this conversation, when they knew exactly what happened to her in past relationships.

"Look honey I know you're not too comfortable with this conversation, but-"

"Too comfortable? Mother I am not getting married anytime soon, and I most definitely can rule this kingdom without a king" she says almost shouting.

"Pina we know you can, it's just that-"

"No mother no. This conversation ends now, I told you after what happened last time that my love life shall not be discussed between you two"

"That's enough Arpina" her father's deep voice overshadowed her own. "Look we know what happened to you was not right, but as future queen you must put your people first-"

"I could have died father, and then who would have been Queen? Aiden? He's barely in the palace" she replies.

"I know dear but-" A knock on the door interrupts the troubled king

"Yes come in"

"Princess Arpina?" A young servant who goes by the name Penelope bows and enters the room. "Yes lady Penelope?"

"I told you her not too address the help by name" her father murmurs to himself.

"Your friends have arrived your highness, they await your presence in the main lounge" she announces. Arpina smiles I'm excitement, as her buttered mood suddenly dissapears at the mention of her visitors.
