𝕿he four girls made their way to the top of the ballroom terrace. All eyes on them, and a golden stamped scroll in hand, they prepare to give the much awaited news.

The parents of the future queens watch patiently from afar, as their daughters prepare to give off a new page in the history books.

"People of Regnum"Doa begins as her voice rang across the room.

"We are gathered here to announce the first royal decree of our forth coming governance" Indra continues. They had been practicing this speech for weeks.

"And as promised, the best interest of our kingdoms was put in mind when making this decision" Avani continues. They all look to Arpina with the scroll in her hand.

"So without further adue, the royal decree." She ended. With shaky hands Her slender fingers removed the golden stamp before unrolling the scroll and giving it to the royal announcer to read out.

She takes a stand by her friends as they watch the event about to unravel.

"The four Future Queens of the Capital states. Princess Arpina, Indra, Doa and Avani, with the guidance of former leaders and the best interest of their beloved kingdom at heart have come to a decision..." He began.

"Here we go" Doa whispered as the girls held each other's hands trying to look as confident and put together as they could.

"... In an attempt to reconcile the damages done by the Celestial War, they have decided to take the first step in joining the two Realms to become one again.." he continued.

King Adar's face began to grow weary of what might be said next.

".. so in that attempt, the royal family pleads to invite the future Empress of Aurelia, Azura Adad, along with four other dark witches, blood related to the royal family, to spend some time with and attend the Royal Coronation of the Queens"

Gasps were suddenly heard from every corner, the entire to was full of murmurs and whispers.

Ever since the celestial war no one had ever tried rekindling the bond between the two Realms. It was forbidden, infact, an abomination for any Dark with to step foot into the light realm and vice versa.

"This is blasphemy! Absolute blasphemy!" A voice was heard from the crowd. "We can't let a dark witch enter the light realm it's forbidden!" The voice continued

"I agree! We are not welcoming our enemies!!" Another voice yelled. Soon enough the crowd became rowdier and the voices grew louder, so much so the royal guards had to excort the royal Families to a private room to avoid further conflict.

As the girls walked into the room, Arpina was held back by a strong hand around her arm.

"What have you done!?" King Adar yelled at his daughter. Arpina looked at him mundanely before releasing her hand from his grip.

"I gave off my royal decree, wasn't that what I was supposed to do?" She replies sarcastically.

"Do not give me that time child. I didn't expect this from you, welcoming in dark witches have you lost your mind?" He exclaimed.

"No, I have not. The seperation between the two Realms has gone on long enough, it's time to reconcile, plus, besides the future Empress the other dark witches accompanying her are our family" Arpina explained.

"They are not our family, they are descendants of traitors, who during the celestial war decided to backstabb their lineage and join the dark witches to fight against us" An angry Riya Esmeray spat.

"Mother the past is in the past, they are not their ancestors, they are banished from their home lands because of what they did, they are innocent, don't you think they deserve a second chance?" Doa tried pleading with her mother.

"Second chance? Ofcourse not, their hands are still stained with the blood of their ancestors!" Queen Ainsley Florian says exasperated.

"Mother-" avani tries to chip in but her father interrupts her.

"No Vani, your mother is right, this is not going to do us any good" says king Briar Florian.

"Listen Everyone calm down. Look I am against this too, but no one went against us during our royal decree. Let's give the children a chance to see how this will end up" Queen Cyra says calmy.

"Yes I agree. This could end up bringing the two Realms together again, do you know what that would do for Regnum? They would be rewriting history" Queen Derya Calder says. "Exactly" King Aenon agrees with his wife.

"But this is not safe, what if they get hurt??" Adar tries to justify. Arpina looks into her father's eyes pleadingly.

"Father we aren't children anymore, just give us a chance" she says.

"Yes and plus what is the worst they could do? We are already seasoned warriors and intelligent royals" Indra explains.

The parents all look at their children unsure.

"Please" they all chorus.

"Fine" King Briar says. "But if this goes wrong" started King Adar, but his wife holds his hand warning his heart. "Just be careful" Queen Ainsley says.

"Ofcourse. Now how do we appease the public?" Doa asks.

"Well the invitation letter to the dark realm will be sent out tonight, so we just have to assure them their safety" Queen  Derya advices.

"Good, now we have to go back before they start aiming for each other's heads" Indra says accompanying her friends back to the ballroom leaving their parents behind.

The room was still full of angry voices as the witches stepped back in.

"People of Regnum!" Indra yells as the audience turn back to look at them.
"We have come to a decision" she continues.

"The Royal decree shall stand!" Arpina says, authority laced in her tone making the crowd do nothing but murmur.

"But we as your leaders assure your safety from any external treaths, as long as you comply with our rules" Doa says. they nod at the royal announcer as he rolls back the scroll and the music continues.

"That will be all" Avani says before taking her leave along with her friends.

That night the capital states and infact the entire light realm was filled with worry. The topic was beyond controversial, some agreed that it was a good idea to try reform the two Realms, while others thought it was dangerous to even be talking about meeting up with a dark witch. There were even some that thought the princess's were way too ambitious and were indulging in matter they couldn't handle.

The four girls retired to their kingdoms as the seven moons of Regnum shown upon their palace gates. As the invitations were delivered to the realm named after darkness, all they could do was wait for a response.
