𝕿he sun shined down on the land of Regnum. Morning had come about, and the people of the light realm had awoken to their daily activities. Those, including the royals.
There were many kingdoms in the light realm of Regnum, but four particular kingdoms stood greater than others, they had many names, but together they were named 'The Capitals'
A young princess had just woken to the sight of the morning sun. Smiling at the view she rises from her ruby colored velvet sheets, which matched the rest of her room and generally the entire palace. Stretching, as her body adjusted to a new day she gazed upon her beloved kingdom.
Cyrus, was the name of the land. The land where she was born, raised in, and soon to be Queen of. She was born a witch with the power of flame, as passed down by her magical heritage, and as the sun rose everyday, so they named her, 'rising of the sun'
With black raven hair reaching the edges of her hips, olive skin, and sharp red eyes that could burn into a soul...
Her name was Arpina.
"Princess Arpina!" A young lady-in-waiting barged through the doors of the large bedroom.
"Laura what happened?" She asked startled by the sudden entrance. "I'm sorry to bother you your highness, but your mother and father request for your arrival" she explains out of breath.
Arpina rolled her ruby eyes and turned back to watch the view of her kingdom again. She was unbothered.
"And what is this about?"
"Well I do not know your highness, they just wanted to see you"
"Hmm" Arpina pondered about what this would be about. She loved her parents immensely, but when she woke up she enjoyed spending some time alone before her daily duties as crowned princess, and since she'd be queen soon, those moments were limited. In fear that it would be something important, she decided to have a bath and attend to them immediately.
"Fine. Prepare a bath for me please and tell them I'll be with them in a short while" she replies. Laura nods and bows before leaving.
Taking off the light silk of her nightgown and slipping into a red bath robe, she looked outside one more time wondering what her four favourite people might be up to.
"Indy! Indy! Indy!" The small voices of children rang through the sapphire walls of the Mediteranian Palace. The sun shown down on the glistening Waters of the Mediteran kingdom, where Indra Calder, the crowned princess and soon to be queen of Mediterranea, hurried down the halls of the palace.
"Indy this isn't fair" Fleur, a young witch pouted. Indra stopped in her tracks, her crystal blue eyes looking down at the three children that stood below her. She sighed, closing the book in her hand and kneeling down to the height of the triplets.
"How isn't this fair?" She asks witch her eyebrow arched. "You never have time for us nowadays, ever since you became crowned princess you're always Everywhere but with us, It's not fair" she pouted, folding her arms and looking away. Indra shook her head and laughed to herself as her brown wavy locks bounced at her motion.
"It's true" Aubrey, the similar looking sister says. "you promised you'd read to us today, and here you are with the book you'd promised us going out for probably the whole day" she says with almost tears in her eyes.
"We won't allow you go" Helga, the third slightly taller triplet expressed, wrapping her arms around the princesses' neck. The two other girls did the same.
"Oh girls I'm sorry, but you know I have duties now"
"So?" They all said in unison making the royal laugh. "So.." she stands up ".. it means even though right now I might not have time for you, but doesn't mean I don't care about you guys, you're my little seraphs remember?" She smiles at them.
"Mmm I guess" Fleur says.
"Okay look, howbout this, I'm going to Cyrus now to meet up with princess Arpina and the rest of the girls, I'll make sure to bring you back a really good book that I'm sure you'll love"
"Really!!" The three ask, excitement glowing in their eyes. She nods and smiles "you're the best Indy" they hug their favorite princess, before running back to the kitchen, where their mother, one of the head cheffs was making breakfast.
As she continues down the hall she feels a bit of guilt knowing she might not be back in time to read to them, but the excitement to see her best friends. The irony of it all that she, the princess of the Mediteranian kingdom, a witch possessing the magic of water, was closest to the princess of Cyrus, a witch of fire.
But as the elders always say, light is light.
Over at the southern part of Regnum, lived a greener kingdom. Blossoming with plants and wildlife, with ever glowing light, lived the kingdom of Evergreen. Over at the palace, a faint sound was heard from behind closed doors.
Music spilled from the walls of the room, as a certain royal occupied it. There, princess Avani Florian, danced to the tune of the magical orchestra, which with her power she made play on it's own.
Avani loved dancing, well, she loved anything that had to do with music or musical instruments. Besides being the future Queen of Evergreen, she'd wanted to become a renouned musician. Problem is that she had important royal duties to attend to, and she was incredibly shy, so dancing infront of anyone besides her best friends was a no go.
As the music came to a halt, she layed on the flower patterned tiled floors of her personal music room, tired and panting from all the activity. Her emerald green eyes met with the sun, as the reflection of the light allowing her to flutter them closed. She wanted to lay there for the rest of the day, but then she remembered she was meant to be on her way to Cyrus to meet up with her friends.
"Ah I must be late" she hissed at herself quickly getting off the floor, attempting to untangle the dark curly locks that made up her hair. She ran out as quietly as she could and down the halls as her green dress embellished in emerald bounced in her motion.
"Avani you're still here? Aren't you supposed to be at Cyprus?" Her mother, Queen Ainsley called out to her as she watched her daughter walk by from the dining table she sat.
"Ah yes mother, I'm a bit late but I'm on my way right now" she says, trying not to look out of breathe. Her mother gave her a nod before turning back to her work allowing her daughter back on her journey.
Clouds rose, rain fell, and temperatures fluctuate at the kingdom of weather. Rainbows crowning the skies over the glittering palace, the kingdom of weather was one of the most colorful. An equally colorful beauty occupied the throne of crowned princess.
Doa Esmeray, the future queen of the weather kingdom, busied herself with her favorite hobby. Baking. She, another princess of a capital kingdom was also on her way to Cyrus, but not before making a fresh batch of her world renouned cookies. She smiled as she brought them out of the oven, her pink lips putting the deep dimples of her Rosy cheeks on display.
Taking a bite out of one of her creations, her golden eyes fluttered in excitement. "Perfect" she says to herself. She looks up at the cloud shaped grandfather clock placed at the top of her personal kitchen. " finally" she beamed, wrapping her cookies up and skipping happily down the stairs. Her bubbly nature able to light a whole room up.
"Mother, father, I'm heading to Cyrus now" she announces passing by her parents study. Her golden locks hovering around her shoulders.
"Okay be careful dear" her mother's voice replies. "Will do" she says before heading out the doors and into the royal Coach.
Those were them, the princess's of the four capitals of the light realm, as each on their way to meet one another, anticipation rested in their minds, as the girls would finally have time to see each other again.
