Boy was I happy to go to school today. My eyes were red from crying all night. Why did Mike have to do that? It did not matter anymore. I just had to get over it. Maybe just ignore them. That's sounds cruel but, I don't want to make anything weird.
I slowly got up and headed to my closet. I needed something that could cover up my arms and we would have no problem. Good thing it was going to be cold outside.

I quickly got dressed and headed downstairs to the kitchen. I had no clue what I was in a rush for, maybe I was hungry. I walked into the kitchen to me my mom cooking pancakes. I was surprised she was home.
"Your home...?" I said, slowly walking in.
"Yep! Caption gave me a day off, since I have been doing 24 hour shifts for 5 days, in a row" she said with a smile.
As you can tell, my mom is a paramedic. That takes up most of her time. So I can barley even see her. But it's cool to here the story's that she shares, about the dead bodies or blood. Most girls my age would get freaked up, but I thought it was cool.
I sat down and grabbed some pancakes. I loved my moms pancakes they were amazing. It's every once in a while I get to taste my moms cooking. But I never complain.
"You look cute this morning" She says with one of her famous smiles.
"Thanks. Since you don't have to work today can you drop me off at school I don't feel like walking. If that's not a problem". I said.
"No, that is not a problem at all, I'm actually glad we can have one on one time." She said.
*at school*
I was walking inside when I saw Troy and James messing with Lucas, Mike, Dustin and no will. That was odd. Maybe just trying to get to class on time. I walk over to Troy and James.
"Troy just leave them alone" I said.
"Well we'll we'll, look who is here to save the day" he said with one of his stupid smiles.
"Just please" I said.
"Fine, since your so pretty, how about I take you on a date?" He asked.
"Why? You just bullied my friends. Sure let me date you real quick" I said.
"Fine, you were ugly anyways" he said and walked away Angrily.
"Your not ugly, your pretty" Lucas blurted out. I was shocked, it was so sudden and random.
"Thank you" I said and walked away as quickly as possible.
I was supposed to not talk to them at all. Dang it! I failed my plan once again.
"Y/n wait!" I heard Dustin yell.
That made me want to walk faster. And so I did.
First period. Of course I had with them. Maybe I could just hang out with Will. Will knew I liked him. He found out a long time ago. And he promised to tell no one.
I walked into the classroom. No will, crap where had he gone? Maybe he was sick. Or his mom held him back today. I'll figure it out. I sat down in my seat. Lucas, Dustin and Mike all walked in a couple of kids later.
I made eye contact and looked at the ground quickly. Who knew avoiding them hurt so much. But this is for the better. Right? I hope so.
The bell had finally rung. It was over thank god, I could not stand another one of those classes ever again. I packed up my stuff quickly. I knew we were going to have to stay a little for the teachers sake. But I guess I was going to miss it.
Lucas POV
Y/n walked out of the classroom quickly before I could get ahold of her. I knew why she was upset. Mike had to call her out on it. I bet she knew we were listening. Only if she knew I liked her too. Maybe this time I had some hope.
"What's up with her?" Mike asked.
"We all know" Dustin said.
"I feel really bad, maybe we should have stayed quiet or never done that" I said.
Y/n POV I was walking to my next class when the Principal and officer came up to me.
"Are you Y/n L/n?" The officer asked.
I nodded my head.
"Come with me" he said.
I walked with him to the principal office was, and then I saw Lucas, Mike and Dustin. They were everywhere. I sat down next to Lucas. He gave me a small smile. I gave him nothing in return. I just stared at the ground.
"Okay okay okay, one at a time. You" the officer said. He pointed at Mike. "You said he takes what?"
"Mirkwood" Mike answered
"Mirkwood, I have never heard of it" he looked at his partner and he shook his head no.
"It sounds made up" his partner said.
"No it's from the lord of the rings" Lucas said.
"The hobbit" Dustin corrected
"It doesn't matter" Lucas said in return.
"He asked!" Dustin replied
"He asked?" Lucas asked.
Then the started arguing back and forth. I elbowed Lucas in the side to shut up. He did, but put his hands on his side in return.
"Hey hey hey, what did I just say? One. At. A. Damn. Time" the officer said.
"You" he pointed at me this time.
"Mirkwood, it's a real road it's just the name that's made up. It's where Cornwallis and Cerly meet" (sorry if I said those wrong) I said.
"Alright I think I know what there talking about" officer said.
"We can show you if you want" Mike said.
"I said that I know it" Officer snapped back.
"We can help look" Mike said.
"Yeah" Dustin said.
"No" Officer said.
"After school you are all to go home. Immediately. That means no biking around looking for your friend, No investigating, no nonsense, no nothing." The officer said.
We all shook our heads yes. I then quickly walked up and went back home. Or tried too.
"Hey, y/n wait!" I heard Lucas say, he followed me outside.
"What?" I said turning around.
"About last night, I just wanted to say, I like you" he blurted out:
"Really?" I asked.
Instead of replying he just kissed me. On the lips. It was a short simple kiss. Nothing more. I stood there bro knowing what to do.
