I skipped going with the boys so I could stay with El.
"Your a superhero too" She said.
"Yes, pretty cool actually. I wanted to light Troy on fire. Never got the chance" I said. I was on the couch upside down.
"You have mark?" She asked.
"Yeppers though mine is a different number" I said. Showing her the my arm. I completely forgot about the scars to.
"Scars?" She asked.
"Oh that's something alright" I said. Sliding my sleeve down.
"What happened?" She asked.
"Well when your dad left and your mothers dead and everyone around you slowly leaves I'm pretty sure you have the right to do what I do" I said.
"Oh" she said.
"I'm glad I got out of that factory lab thing because I would not look good bald. No offense you rock the style it's just I can't" I said.
"Will it grow back?" She asked.
"To be honest I'm sure. It probably take a while but your hair will" I said.
"Good" she said with a smile.
"So you and Mike" I said.
"What do you mean?" She asked.
"Oh come on I know you like him it's obvious. Just how I like Lucas" I said.
"Like?" She asked.
"It's kinda like love. When you love someone a whole lot. You feel for them and you end up thinking the world of them and everything you do has something to do with them" I said .
She smiled.

Eventually Lucas and everyone came back. Lucas did look pretty cute all cleaned up.
"It would take a lot of energy to build at gate. That's gotta be what happened. Because how did Will end up there" Mike said.
"Right" El said
"What we wanna know is, do you know where the gate is?" Lucas asked.
El shock her head no.
"Then how do you know about the upside down?" Lucas asked, he was clearly frustrated.
We all waited for El to say something but we were distracted by Dustin pacing back and forth.
"Dustin what are you doing?" I asked.
"Dustin? Dustin?" Mike said.
"Dustin!" Lucas shouted.
"I need to see your campuses" Dustin said.
"What?" Mike asked.
"Give me your campuses all of them right now" Dustin said.
"Dang, there could have been a nicer way of doing that" I said and handing mine over.
All of us had a campus the whole party did.
"What's so exciting about this?" I asked.
"There all facing north right?" Dustin asked.
"Yeah. So?" Lucas asked.
"That's not true north" Dustin said.
"What do you mean?" Mike asked.
"I mean what exactly what I said. That's not true north" Dustin said.
"Are you 3 seriously this stupid?" Dustin asked. "The sun rises in the east, and it sets in the west right" he said. It was likes he was dumping it down for us "slow pokes"
