Y/n POVI walked into school with a big smile on my face. I found Will at his locker and I came up behind him. I was going to scare him but then I saw what he was looking at something.
It was an expert from a newspaper article that it was about Will, how he 'came back to life'. The whole world couldn't known what exactly happened a when Will went missing. It was labeled with Zombie Boy.
"Don't listen to them" I mumbled as I grabbed the news paper from him. He got startled and turned around. He gave me a small smile.
"It's fine" He mumbled. I definitely knew it wasn't but I was not going to push it. We walked to Scinece together as I tossed the newspaper into the trash on the way in.
"Are you doing okay?" I asked him trying to make sure he was okay.
"Yeah" he mumbled. My heart kinda hurt at his words because I couldn't really help him.
I sighed as I took my regular seat next to Lucas and behind Dustin.
"Hi" I mumbled as I dropped my stuff and got comfortable.
"Hey" Lucas said with a smile. Don't get me wrong, things are okay after what happened. We both know that we like eachother but nothing is really happening . Well I would like something to happen.
We kissed like three times and he never asked me to be his girlfriend so I assume nothing is going to happen.
"Here it is. The human brain. I know, I know. It doesn't look like much. A little gross even, right? But consider this. There are a hundred billion cells inside of this miracle of evolution." Mr. Clarke. I yawned, Dustin looked over at me and smiled. I coudknt believe any of them were even excited over this. "Al working as one. No, no, I did not misspeak. I did not stutter. A hundred billion" Mr. Clarke said.
We all knew he was going to add on but then the door opened and I red headed her came in.
"Ah, this must be our new student" Mr, Clarke said as the principal followed behind her.
"Indeed. All yours" The principal said as he left the classroom with a smile. She was about to walk to the back of the classroom but Mr. Clarke stopped her.
"All right. Hold up. You don't get away that easy. Come on up. Don't be shy" Mr. Clarke said she slowly moved back to stand in the front of the class.
"Dustin, drum roll." Mr. Clarke said. Dustin let out a goofy smile and he tapped his pointer fingers on the desk. I put my head down in embarrassment for the poor girl.
"Class, pease welcome, all the. Way from sunny California, the latest passenger to join us on our curiosity voyage, Maxine" Mr, Clark announced.
"It's Max" She corrected him. My head shot up. That sounded familiar. Mad Max?
"Sorry?" Mr. Clarke asked.
"Nobody calls me Maxine. It's Max" She said a little louder. I cringed at how awful this was going but I tuned my attention to Dustin to see if he was thinking the same exact things
"Mad Max" Dustin whispered to us. I have him a duh look because I already figured that out.
"Well, all aboard, Max" Mr. Clarke said with a smile. We all watched as Max took a seat in the back of the classroom. She looked at us and we all quickly looked away. It seemed like we were all a big of stalkers.
