The night was dark, it was past midnight and a SUV was driving down an industrial part of town of Beacon Hills. It was being driven by a women named Kate Argent, and in the seat next to her was her son Alexander Argent but goes by the name Alec as they listen to the radio as they drive through the town.
"In other news, local authorities remain perplexed by the animal attacks plaguing Beacon Hills." said theNewscaster on the radio, making Kate scoffs and chuckles under her breathe.
As she reached out to turn the station from newscast to music on the radio, she glanced into her rearview mirror, "Being back here will be good." Kate said as she turned to look at Alec.
"Good for who? You or me?" Alec replied back with attitude in his tone.
"For the both of us. It will give us time to complete our other orders because we were getting nowhere in New York." Kate said irritated as Alec rolled his eyes.
"I was perfectly fine in New York until you dragged me here! I was so close in finding that creature you desperately want more than your own son." Alec tells his mother in anger.
The Argent women still behind the wheel as she sighs, glancing into her son's beautiful green eyes. "Look, I know I have not been the most amazing mother to you but I want to try and fix that between us." Kate acknowledged her lack of being a good mother in her son's life.
As the two Argents talked they didn't noticed that behind their car a dark figure was running in the shadows and growling under it's breath, as it was clear it's the Alpha chasing after them. Meanwhile Kate was continuing driving in her SUV, as she was tapping her fingers against the steering wheel with the beat of the music and bobbing her head as well. She then turned her head to the left, missing the sight of the werewolf with glowing red eyes running alongside her car. But when Kate sight returned to the road, the Alpha melts back into the darkness so it won't be seen.
