The next day Lydia had texted Madelyn to go over to Allison's house in the evening to hang out before they had to go on there double date.
Once Madelyn walked up to the house, she knocked on the door but no one answered. The young Bennett could hear Allison and Lydia upstairs laughing so she just went in. When she was about to go up the stair she felt someone's presence, making her turn around. She jumped when she saw Argent standing right behind her.
"Mr. Argent, hey! You scared me." Madelyn said as she had her hand on her chest pretending.
"Hi sorry Madelyn, I didn't mean to. I just heard the door open and came to check it out." Argent said
"Sorry, I knocked and waited but no one answered. So I just came in because Allison said she would be here with Lydia. Maybe next time I should ring the door bell." Madelyn said faking a laughing.
"Yeah, well you can go up, they are probably waiting for you." Argent said pointing up the stairs.
"Yeah, sorry again." Madelyn said as she walked up the stairs and looked back to seeing Mr. Argent still watching her so she gave him a fake smile.
Once Madelyn got near Allison's room she could hear Lydia trying to help pick out a outfit for Allison, for there double date.
"Pass" Lydia said as Allison held up a shirt for Lydia to approve but instead she declined it.
"Hey." Madelyn said as she walked in and plopping herself next to Lydia on to Allison's bed grabbing one of the books that was on her nightstand.
"Hey." Allison said at the same time Lydia said "Hey, you made it." with joy in there voice.
"Yeah sorry I'm late. I walked here." Madelyn said looking at the two.
"You didn't drive here?" Allison asked the brunette.
"No, I didn't feel like it. I felt like taking a nice stroll, it's nice out tonight." Madelyn said as the girls nodded there head, "So what have you two been doing?"
"Trying to find Allison a perfect blouse for our double date tonight. You know you should come." Lydia said
"Yeah, you should." Allison added
"Yeah, no. I'm not fifth wheeling on your double date." Madelyn said making the two girls sigh.
"Yeah, okay. And hey what happened to you yesterday?" Lydia asked making Madelyn's look at the strawberry blonde hair girl
"What do you mean?" Madelyn asked.
"I couldn't find you yesterday until Allison told me that Scott told her you left school early yesterday." Lydia spoke with concern in her voice.
