In a town of New York it was during the day and Madelyn Bennett was up in her room packing her thing as she was in slight panicking. Madelyn also felt angry, she grabbed one of her ring daggers and was going to throw it at the target board that is hung on her wall until she was interrupted by her mother, Bonnie Bennett. She barged into her room, when she throw it, it was about to pierce her mother, but she stopped it using her magic before it did.
"Madelyn!" Bonnie yelled as the ring dagger dropped in front of her and then she saw her daughter's room is a mess with her things all over the floor and some boxes. "What are you doing?" She asked her daughter as Madelyn continued moving things around the room not making eyes contact.
"What does it look like I'm doing?! I'm packing." Madelyn said carrying clothes in her arm and dumping them on her bed.
"Why?" Bonnie asked confused at to what happened.
"Because of those stupid witches!" Madelyn said with anger.
"Well those 'stupid' witches are hurt because of you. That's the reason I came in here to talk to you." Bonnies yelled as she stood in front of the door as Madelyn glanced up at her mother, "What were you thinking!?"
"I was thinking it was about time to give them a taste of there own medicine." The young Bennett said bluntly but you could still hear the anger laced in her tone and went back to packing her clothes.
"Why would you do that?" The oldest Bennett asked confused and angry at her daughter.
Madelyn stopped packing as she started to feel annoyed at her mother's questions and stood up straight facing her mother. " I did it because they deserved it, okay."
"No, not okay." Bonnie yelled crossing her harms over her chest.
"It's because you don't know the whole story, you're just assuming I did it for the fun of it and that's it. So fine blame me, like I care. I'm leaving anyway." Madelyn yelled back feeling the anger rise more inside her.
This isn't the first time Madelyn gotten in trouble because she used her powers but she is just defending herself. Sometimes she just can't control herself, with one little trigger of a reminder of her past, she loses it. And every time she does, it attracts unwanted attention like the hunters. There one of the reasons the Bennett women move often for there safety but most importantly Madelyn's safety as they only want her and not her mother. The other reason has to do with Bonnie's job.
Bonnie is usually gone doing work with Caroline, making her to leave and travel more often, leaving Madelyn behind and alone. Which she doesn't mind, beside the trouble Maddie's gets in to, she is essentially compassionate, kind, empathetic, caring, friendly, sometimes impulsive but mainly protective, especially of those she loves. And the only person she truly loves is her mother and all she wants to do is keep her safe since she is the only close family/parent Madelyn has left.
