The tall Argent lead her out of the dinning room and guided her to the guest room. It was pure silence between them. Alec kept glance at her but she kept her eye sight facing forward still not wanting to meet his eyes.
Once they arrived, Madelyn went to walk pass him when his arm went to reached out to grab a hold of her arm but she swiftly moved her arm out of his reach so he wouldn't lay a finger on her, "Don't even think about it." Madelyn said now speaking in a different tone in voice then how she was speaking at the dinner table. Before she spoke all polite and kindly, now it sounded more dangerous and confident with a slight hint of anger.
"What are you doing here in Beacon Hills?" He asked his voice sounding low.
"What, no, 'how you doing?', it's been like -what...two years. Did you miss me?" Madelyn teased as she tilted her head slightly to the side innocently.
"No." He said.
"Liar." She roll her eyes at him.
"Just tell me." He said narrowing his eyes at her.
"You know...just enjoying my time away from all the travels. Like going to school, hanging around town, making friends." Madelyn said as she was facing away from him and looking around the room.
"I'm serious. What are you doing here?" He asked once more impatiently.
"So am I. I was done traveling, well more like running. I'm done being hunted down by stupid hunters." She slowly turned around facing him but still not looking into his eyes. "If they want to come after me, fine." Madelyn smirked when she saw his face fall.
"You've changed." He spoke
"Haven't we both. Like look at you. You got taller, more muscular, your voice sounds deeper kinda sexy not gonna lie." Madelyn smirked as she walks around him getting a better look but still keeping her distance from him as she returns back to standing in front of him.
