Chapter 8 - CPU's And Their Sisters

Ok so it's been a minute, I've been doing error corrections because they were driving me mental just thinking of them. The DxD story is corrected, mostly, probably a few things I missed. Same with this story.

This part will mainly focus on the CPU's and their sisters.

Anyway I'll get started.

Noire woke up and went about her usual routine, most of that routine involving work. It's pulled up like fuck now thanks to the fight yesterday.

"This'll be fun." She said to herself sarcastically. Thankfully she had a sister that was more than happy to help her. Uni will take anything to prepare her for being the main CPU when that happens.

She sat at her desk and got cracking on her work. Although she found herself unable to focus.

She couldn't get yesterday out of her head.

"Why the hell did I act like that?" She asked herself.

She wasn't thinking about what Arbore said, rather what she said herself when Neptune was crying. Her friend was clearly in pain and she just wanted answers. She should have consoled her friend.

She was going to go over to ask questions, but now she just wants to got over to apologise for how she acted. Uni was right, she was just worked up from the fight.

"Everything ok sis?" Uni's voice called.

"Huh? Oh, yeah. I'm fine." She answered, Uni wasn't convinced.

"Are you sure? You've just been taping the page with your pen." Uni pointed out.

Noire looked at the page and saw that she had indeed been making small dots on the page with her pen. Guess this has been bothering her more than she realised, she didn't realise she was distracted from work.

"I........ I keep thinking about yesterday." Noire said looking out the window.

"About what Arsnore said, right?" Uni guessed. Well she was was half right.

"Well, sort of, but not really. I was thinking about Neptune. She looked shattered. She needed help and I just demanded answers. I shouldn't have been such a...... bitch." Noire said lying her head down. "I need to go over to her place today and apologise, I think we all keep forgetting she has feelings too."

Uni was glad to see that it was just her being worked up that caused her to act like that. She knew her sister had a heart.

Uni walked around and put a hand on her sisters shoulder.

"Go on." She said.

Noire looked up at Uni.

"What?" She was confused what she meant.

"Go talk to her. I can hold the fort while you're gone." Uni said pulling her big sister off the chair and pushing her to the balcony that may as well be a landing pad.

Noire looked at her sister and quickly hugged her.

"Thanks Uni, you're amazing. I'll be back soon so don't burn down the country while I'm gone." Noire joked.

"Oh screw you I know what I'm doing!" Uni said laughing a bit.

Noire pulled back and transformed.

Black Heart now looked at her little sister.

"Seriously though, thank you Uni. You've been an amazing sister. I won't be too long." Black Heart then turned to fly off.

"Yeah yeah now go talk to your girlfriend." Uni teased.
