Chapter Ten

°That Moment

That moment when God made his arrangements
That both of you should become one as an enlargement
You should become a source of encouragement to each other
With life experience and unlimited improvement
Plus an everlasting achievements
Know that from that moment onwards, you both shall make a huge commitment
Screw for better and for worse and be a betterment for each other
I pray God uphold our homes with everyday amusement
Plus an everlasting advancements.

The drive was silent, different thoughts were running in my head, I don't even know if i still love Shinaayo anymore or if I should still love him, I'm broken, remembering how my life was before and now, the reason behind my pains, the reason that birth the beast in my husband; how I will move on from now, how I will handle the criticism from people, I'm really devastated I don't need a soothsayer to tell me that; from my peripheral vision I could see Ayobami taking glances at me each minutes, poor man I have rub him with my situation he got some blows as well, his mouth is swell a bit, I hope it goes down before tomorrow so that people will not start asking him questions and he wouldn't have to lie about it and he wouldn't have to say "I got a blow from my friend who knows I have a crush for his wife and also thought I should have told him his wife is barren" that really sucks! Here I am with him and am stick with him for God knows when as am not even ready to face shinaayo and finalize things with him.

"We are home, please get down" I heard
I look around then realization hit me, Ayobami brought me to his place, is this right? Nothing is even right about me, I agree with my subconscious mind for the first time . We got down and walked into his three bedroom apartment.

He has a three-seater sofa and two-seater sofa in his living room, a 50 inches flatscreen hung on the wall and some work of Art as well, it looks simple but cozy. I settled down in his guest room, just a 14 inches bed laid on the floor and a mini wardrobe by the right hand side of the bed.

"You can use the bathroom, freshen up while i prepare what to eat" he said and left the room.

I removed all my clothes, drop it on the bed then walk into the bathroom, I opened the shower till the tub is filled, i drop two cubes of soap in the water and watch it dissolved, slowly I dip my body in the tub, thank God the water is a bit warm maybe because the water tank is facing the sun directly which makes the water works with weather, well it's what I want anyway.

l remembered when I was still a young child I love playing with water, that brought smile to my face, Dad will leave me for some minutes to play with water after bathing and while it rains it's a bonus for me as I will play in the rain and catch a cold afterwards, am no more a child that can play in the rain again anyway, I support the motion which says adulthood is a scam! From stopping us from what we normally do as a child to taking us to one challenge to another. My thoughts drifts to my Mum, I wonder how she's doing, I just pray she took her drugs as she has since develop High Blood Pressure when I told her about what her husband did to me and she surprise everyone by filling for divorce, a decision that was tough for her no wonder she never wants me to experience it, poor woman.

I start to feel some chills in my body, my fingers were shriveled from being in the bath for too long, I guess that's a clue to stand up, I checked his wall clock and realized have used 20 minutes in the tub, I opened the outlet to drain the soapy water then I rinse my body and get out of the tub, I looked around for a towel but there was no towel to wrap my body, I didn't remember to asking Ayobami for one, i mentally scold myself for that, while still standing I began to shiver I have no choice than to go out of the bathroom.
I got to the door and peeped, when I ascertain that there was no one inside I decide to come out, at least I know he used to put some towels in the cupboard of his guest room, I began tiptoeing out.

On getting out of the bathroom I heard a click sound from the door but am not too sure until door opened, I gasped and quickly want to run back into the toilet but luck wasn't on my side, I fell down and hit my bum hardly on the floor that was when ayobami noticed me, he stood in shock and didn't move with a tray of food in his hands, I wanted to stand up to at least hide myself from him but I felt a sharp pain from my back and leg, I don't know what to do as I'm fixed on the floor I only used my hands to cover my private area.

I sat there on the floor staring hardly at Ayobami eyes, I guess he got the clue as he made a "oh" sound, he turned around, drop the food on the bed and gets me a towel, he then helped me to the bed, that doesn't stop me from being mad at him.

Omo🤣🤣🤣 you remember those scary journey from bathroom to your room, looking left and right, up and down to be sure no one is coming and nobody sees you, you are definitely lucky 😂😂😂 not  everyone is lucky and among the unlucky ones is Omolade, I don't pray to experience it Sha🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
