Chapter 13: I love you

"I love you."

My eyes widened a bit. He loves me.. he loves me!!! Ahh!! I love him too. Davina, are you dumb? Say something!

"I..I love you too.." I said breaking into an adorable smile.

"I'm madly in love with you" Matteo said breaking the space between us, pressing his lips against mine. It was a rough, passionate kiss. There was a lot of love into it.

I haven't noticed that it was already 7:30 and we were going at it for a while. We pulled away and I blushed.

"I gotta go.. sorry" I said grabbing my purse. Matteo rolled his eyes.

"Why?" Matteo said grabbing my waist leading me to his car.

"I'm visiting my dad early in the morning tomorrow and I promised that I will hang out with Nathan tomorrow" I said laying my head against his arm. He's to tall for me to reach his shoulder.

I could of sworn I saw jealousy in his eyes. His jaw clenched and his grip on my waist tightened.

"He's my best friend" I said going on my tippy toes to kiss his lips.

He hummed against my lips. "Gosh, your addicting to stay away from"

I laughed and playfully shoved his shoulder. He opened the car door for me, as I got in. He drove off and we talked during the ride home. There were flirts thrown around in the conversation.

We arrived at the hotel, and right when I was about to open the door, he grabbed my wrist and I turn around to see him cupping my cheek, kissing me.

"I love you amour. Goodnight" he said pecking my lips one last time.

"I love you too.." I said kissing him back. I then remembered something.

"Matteo.."

He hummed in response looking into my hazel eyes.

"What are we? I mean we did talk and I thought that.. since we did... what are we now?" I asked not looking away from him. A smirk then plastered on his face.

"Anything you want to be. All I want is to be with you"

I nodded smiling. "Goodnight babe" I said leaving his car. He shook his head playfully then blew me a kiss as I blew one back. He drove away and I walked into the hotel.

When I walked in, I saw Alec and Nathan talking about something as if they were talking about something secret.

They noticed me standing there, then jumped out of their conversation. Nathan looked annoyed and Alec looked.. well... secretive.

"Davina! Hello!" Alec said walking up to me, hugging me. I tensed under his arms and moved back.

"Hey... what's going on? Everything alright?" I asked crossing my arms. There is something up.

Alec nodded quickly and Nathan just stood there. "Okay..." I said walking off.

"Where were you at?" Alec said smiling innocently.

"None of your business" I muttered thinking he wouldn't hear me but he did.

"It actually is. I'm in charge now because of your fath-" I'm so sick of this guy.

"Keep my fathers name out of your mouth. I don't care about you and so does my family. I don't even know you, and you don't tell me what to do. If you don't mind, please excuse me so I could go up to bed and you and Nathan could go back to your suspicious and secretive conversation" I said taking a few steps up the stairs.

"That wasn't a suspicious conversation.. just business talks and isn't a bit strange that you are going out after what happened to your father? You should care" Alec said crossing his arms.

"It's a bit strange now that your acting all joyful after your wife's death. Your daughters in grief dude. Get a grip, and of course I care. I'm seeing him at the hospital tomorrow" I shouted out. I flipped him off and ran up to my room.

Now I'm acting like my father. Whatever, father like daughter or should I say daughter like father.

I'm so exhausted and I'm glad I got things sorted out with Matteo.

I tossed on my pajamas and headed to bed. I tucked myself in and fell into a deep sleep.
