Chapter 21: Is this the end?

I walk outside to see my dad, his bodyguards and the Costello's. They were talking to the police. Police then barged into the hotel and arrested Nathan and Alec'a bodyguards. They took Alec's body away.

Matteo walked up behind me and hugged me. He started to kiss my neck and I smiled. I turn around to face him and I kissed him.

"I thought I lost you today" Matteo said hugging me tightly. I just nodded.

I see the Matteo's parents grab my dads arm and drag him to my side. "Hey.. I just wanted to apologize about everything. I know I made your life a living hell and-"

My dad cut him off. "I should be sorry. We used to be such good friends and I fucked that up. I am sorry I blamed you guys for my wife's death. You guys didn't deserve that."

Alexandro and his wife nodded. They hugged my dad and my dad started to sob. A tear fell from my eye and I ran to hug my dad. Matteo hugged us as well including Nora. Group hug.

We all separated, and my dad and the Costello's went a separate way to talk and catch up.

Matteo grabbed my hand gently and pulled me to the side.

Matteo looked deeply into my eyes and caressed my cheek. "Are you okay, love?"

I shook my head and tears spilled out. "My life has been a shithole, Matteo. I hate it"

Matteo nodded and hugged me. He kissed my head and ran his fingers through my hair.

"It's okay, amour. I'm right here" Matteo said not letting go.

"I love you. I love you so much" I said and went on my tippy toes and kissed him. "I love you more" he said and kissed me back.

We have been standing there, making out for like 10 minutes and Nora caught us and smirked.

"Hey love birds, quit making out. Hey Davina, our parents offered for you and your father to stay with us. They even offered for you to live with us in Italy"  Nora said grabbing our hands.

"I can't just leave my father" I said and Matteo's smile faded.

"You can't leave me. I can't live without Davina. What about us?"

I got frustrated and stressed out. It was hard picking a choice between two people you love.

"My dad doesn't want to stay here?" Nora shrugged.

"I don't know. My parents offered but I didn't hear his answer" Nora said and my bodyguards coming out with our bags.

I walk up to my dad. "Dad?" I asked and turned to look at me and hugged me.

"Hey chere. What's up?" My dad said not letting go.

"Nora offered for me and you to stay here... are we-" my dad interrupted me.

"Of course! I'm shipping some of our stuff form France here" my dad said smiling. I saw Matteo's parents approach me and I started to get nervous.

Matteo's mother stepped in front of me and hugged me. I hugged her back. "My son is lucky to have such a beautiful girl like you" she said looking at me in my eyes. Alexandro nodded in agreement with her.

"Sorry we misjudged you and your father. I understand you guys were hurt and... we understand that." Matteo's mother said smiling at me and my dad.

"Thank you Mrs. Costello"

"No please call me Charlotte, dear" she said placing her hand on my shoulder.

"Yeah, you guys are great people" Alexandro said smiling.

"Sir.. the cars are ready" Alexandro nodded and montioned us to follow him. Matteo ran up to me and grabbed my waist, guiding me to one of the cars.

I am starting my new life here in Italy. Everything has changed. I got an amazing boyfriend, there isn't no more rivalries, I found out who killed my mother, everything has been a roller coaster.

I'm just glad everything is over. But.. is this the end?

Is it another beginning to a new chapter?
