Chapter 15: Secret hangouts and milkshakes

Today I was hanging out with Matteo. I was still a little off about that dream. You know what? I'm just going to forget about this and have a good time with my boyfriend.

I got dressed into this nice flowy dress. I heard a knock on my door. I went up to my door and opened it. I see Matteo standing there.

"Wow, I'm surprised you weren't outside waiting for me in your car" I said laughing but he just stood there with his mouth open.

"Eyes up here buddy" I said winking at him. I brought his chin up so I can look at his eyes. He had such unique eyes. It was a really dark brown.

"You look gorgeous" he said kissing me. I kissed him back. I ran my fingers through his brown silky hair. He grabbed onto my waist.

"As much as I love this, we have to get going" I said pecking his lips one last time. He groaned and I grabbed his wrist. I dragged him into his car.

He opened the car door for me and I got in. He got in after me.

"Matteo.." I said my smile fading away. He noticed my upset and confused look and grabbed my hand.

He began to drive off and he asked me, "Are you okay? What's wrong beautiful?"

I sighed and said, "I had this dream... but this dream felt real... it was about my mother. I-I don't know what my mom looks like exactly because I was young when she died"

Matteo kissed my lips and said, "it's okay love. Keep going"

"She then started choking... choking on b-blood.." I stuttered and my face turned pale. I hate blood.

Matteo nodded and tightened his grip on my hand. "I'm not going to keep going you probably think I'm crazy-"

"I don't think your crazy at all. Love, of course I believe you" he said giving me the most gorgeous smile which made my heart flutter.

"She started choking and... she started saying stuff about her brother which is Alec. She kept repeating his name and I know for a fact it was Alec because that's my moms only brother. She also mentioned the note.."

Matteo raised an eyebrow. "What's the note gotta do with this?"

"I'm not sure... that was the part I was confused on. Ugh, I wish my dad was awake." I groaned and layed my head back.

Matteo nodded. "It's okay, love. But... don't you think that note has something to do with this?" He asked and I shrugged.

"I don't know" I said putting down the window for some fresh air. Matteo nodded then took a turn.

"We are here" Matteo said getting out of his seat and opening my door. I thanked him and I looped my arm through his.

He brought us to this aesthetic little cafe. There was blossom trees everywhere. It was cute.

We walked inside and the inside was also really cute. We walked up to this table and he pulled a chair for me. I sat down and looked at the menu.

"The strawberry milkshake looks good" I said licking my lips. Matteo nodded and called a waiter over.

"Hello! What could I get for you?" He asked grabbing his notebook out.

"Hello.. a strawberry milkshake please" Matteo said handing him a 5 dollar bill. The waiter took it and smiled.

"Sure thing!" He said walking away. I look at him confused.

"What?" Matteo said looking out the window.

"Your not getting anything?" I asked grabbing my wallet. "I could get you something"

Matteo shook his head and put his finger up for me to be quiet and wait.

While we were waiting for our milkshakes to come, we were chatting. I was having a good time. Our milkshakes came and the waiter gave us a straw.

"May you please bring us another straw?" Matteo said grabbing my hand. The waiter nodded and walked off.

"Ohh, I know what your doing" I said smirking and he smirked along with me. "We are going to share a milkshake like in those cute love movies! That's cute!"

Matteo chuckled and the waiter brought us an extra straw. Matteo placed the two straws in the milkshake and we both took a sip.

"Mmm.. this is delicious" I said. I looked up at Matteo and he smirked.

"What?" I asked and I finally knew what he was thinking. I playfully shove his arm and took another sip.

It's already 10 PM and we were walking around the block. The cafe was already closed.

"I had a good time" I said laying my head on his arm. Matteo nodded and kissed my forehead.

"I did to, amour" He said grabbing my waist. "Your amazing" he said kissing me. "You are to" I said between his lips. He chuckled and kissed me back.

We have been standing there leaning against his car, kissing. I pulled away to get some air.

"We have been at it for a while" I said leaning my cheek against his hand because he is caressing my cheek.

"Yeah and I wish we were at it forever" Matteo said leaning forward to give me another kiss my I put my index finger on his lips.

" I need to go home silly" I said laughing and running to open my door. We got in his car and he started his car. We just talked for the whole car ride.

We arrived at the hotel. I thanked him for tonight, and he grabbed my wrist and pressed a gentle kiss on my lips.

"Goodnight love. And don't forget my goodnight kiss" he said smirking and I smirked back pressing a kiss onto his lips.

"Night handsome" I said walking out of his car.

I had a great night.

I walk upstairs and I opened my room door. I opened the door to reveal something that shocked me.

It was Alec...
