George held a blanket, pillow and a bowl of fruit.... Maybe he could get the know the merman before he lets him go when the storm calms down.... Just someone to talk to before he gets lonely again.

He carefully peaked his head in, seeing the creature stare out at the big window.

George quietly walked over, sitting down on the opposite side of the bath.
"Um.. sorry for bothering you- but I brought strawberries.." he Mumbled quietly.

The merman's head turned over, glaring at George- a death stare almost.

"I'm not going to hurt you- so if that's what your thinking.. it's far from it." George sighed, setting up his little bed.
"I don't want to hurt yo-"

George was cut off when the merman quickly swam across the tub, pushing himself onto the ledge.

"Why are you different." The merman finally spoke, leaning forward.

George blinked in shock- he can speak.
"HUH?!" He stared- he didn't know what to say.
"You- you can talk!"

"Yes I can talk!- what? What kind of question... never mind" The mer snapped.
"Now answer my question, why are you different." He glared at George, baring his fangs.

"I- wh- what do you mean?" George tilted his head, confused what does he mean.. different.
"How am I different."

"You- you helped me out of the water.. but instead of killing me or putting me in some display tank.. you- did whatever things you did and fixed my wounds." The merman was actually speaking to him- speaking a lot.
"And your planning to setting me free, correct."

George blinked but nodded.
"Yeah- I would let you go now... but I'm guessing you could see from outside how bad the storm is.." he looked at the window, seeing the waves nearly reach his home... thank god his home is reinforced.
"But I don't want you getting hurt again and dying.."

"What are you." The mer leaned forward, looking at the brown haired man.
"You are very small." He poked his cheek, tilting his head to the side.
"A little tiny thing- are you a land walker..?"

"My names George! And I'm not small! I'm average height." George huffed, sitting on the pillow.
"And stop poking me." He smacked the merman's hand away.

"You have a name?- George..?" The merman slid back into the water, resting his chin on the ledge.
"That's what It is?"

"Yeah?? Your name is probably fins, or beach.... Some stupid ocean name." George crossed his arms, glaring at the merman.

"It's Dream." Dream had an unimpressed look.
"Who would name themselves fins-" he furrowed his brows.
"That's a stupid name.."

"I dunno... some random blonde merman swimming in the ocean during a tropical storm." George softly chuckled- quickly stopping himself... oh- that was a rude joke.
"Oh- I'm sor-" he looked up, seeing the unimpressed merman- he might not like jokes.

Dream looked at George unimpressed until he softly chuckled.
"I guess your right." He looked down at the bowl of berries.
"I'm taking these, there mine now."

But Before George could say a word, Dream took the bowl from him.

"Oh!- sure!" George smiled.
"I brought them for you- in case you wanted any." He was quite happy.. he finally could talk to someone- even if.. well- he's a merman.
"And it seems you do."

"What is this place." Dream took a bite out of a strawberry, glancing around until he noticed the shower head.
"What's that." He tilted his head, he was curious of everything around him.
