George's eyes widened- so this was supposed to be sapnaps connection? Like how him and Dream are.
"Uh-" he didn't know what to do.

Dream had a happy yet concerned look for Sapnap- he didn't think he'd find his connection.

"What?" Karl had an anxious look, staring up at Sapnap-
"Who.. are-" he mumbled.

"You can't be my connection." Sapnap spat, shaking his head-
"I don't claim this to be my connection." He turned to dream, shaking his head.
"I don't want some two legged thing to be my connection."

Dreams gaze softened, frowning.
"That's not really nice-" he turned to Sapnap.
"You can't say that.."

"Tch." Sapnap quickly pushed himself back into the water, swimming away.
"I'm leaving"

Karl was shaken up, not understanding a word.
"What..?" He looked between Dream and George.

George quickly jogged over to Karl.
"Dream- go talk to Sapnap.." he sighed, crouching down next to Karl.
"I'll take Karl inside.."

Dream nodded before glancing at george with a worried look-

George looked over at Dream, having a soft smile.
"Don't worry- we still are.. I just need to explain to Karl.." he carefully helped Karl up.
"Cause now- i have a feeling he's kinda- stuck in this town for a bit until he understands."

"Okay!"
Dream had a happy perk up before nodding, diving into the water.
"I'll drag him back." He hummed.

"Cmon.. we have some- things we need to talk about.." George carefully patted Karl's back.
"Would you mind sitting down and talking about it- or.. do you want to go home..?" He didn't want to force Karl to stay.
"You have the choice."

"What's a connection.." Karl looked up, confused.
"Is it something bad..? Like.. a sickness..?" He had a worried look.

George shook his head.
"No it's not bad- I don't exactly know much about it.. but it's something that happens to mermaids and merman when they find there 'soulmate' I guess you could say-" it just snapped into George's own head about him and Dream... that's what it means.
"oh."

"Wait-wait-" Karl shook his head, looking up at George.
"So- what your saying is.. that- other mermaid- merman.. is supposed to be my soulmate-??" He had a worried look, quickly shaking his head.
"No!- he's terrifying! He is a fish!"

George frowned, looking back at the ocean... I don't think sapnaps all that bad.
"He has a good heart- I think..?" He thought something happened with him with humans before.
"I don't know."

Karl was still- very much hesitant...
"I think I might head inside.." he stood up, having a worried look... he wants to figure everything out."
"If that's alright with you- I don't understand what's going on."

"Yeah- of course... I might have to help dream inside though.." George glanced back at the ocean, frowning.
"He's not good on his feet yet."

"Dream..?" Karl tilted his head, confused.
"Who's.." he didn't know who Dream was.

"He's my- technically 'connection'.. I saved him from that tropical storm a few days ago." George anxiously chuckled, rubbing the back of his head.
"He's the other merman.. the green one." He enjoyed dreams company.

"Oh- so..." Karl was thinking a little.
"They just- connect with you and your stuck." He looked up, frowning.
"Is that-"

"Nono-" George shook his head.
"You have the option too leave- Dream was just clingy and I couldn't say no, he's nice company and he tries his best to make me happy.." He smiled, lightly chuckling.
"There not so bad.. it's just- I don't think sapnaps fond of the land like Dream is.."
