"Are you sure you don't need me to come with you." I asked All Might and Aizawa once again. It's been three weeks since the villains kidnapped Bakugo, and the heroes saved him. Also since All Might took on All For One and won by a hair. He retired from hero work a day later. There was a staff meeting that was held by Nezu saying he wanted the students and some teachers to live in dorm rooms. I was still on bed rest from being a hero (Recovery Girl's Orders) and I was starting to get antsy. I hated doing nothing; so, When Aizawa and All Might came to tell me the plan about dorms, I immediately wanted to go. "Yes Aratani. You need to rest." Aizawa answered me tiredly. "I've been resting for three weeks Shota. THREE FUCKING WEEKS! The fever went down, and my body is feeling  fine!" I whined. "That doesn't mean you can't rest more young Aizawa." "Butt out Toshinori!" Me and Aizawa snapped. "I need you at top shape for when classes start kid. You know how it goes." He stated to me. I bit my lip and sighed. "Fine. I'll lay off." I said crossing my arms. He sighed and kissed my forehead. "I'll come by later to check on you." He said. I smiled and waved them off. "Go before you lose your jobs." I said kissing Aizawa and All Might's cheeks. They left and I shut my door going into the kitchen; but 5 minutes later there was a knock on my door.

I groaned. "Did you forget something Daaaa-Dabi?" I said seeing the scarred man in front of me. "It's interesting to see your place in the light." He said looking around. I shushed him and grabbed his wrist pulling him into my place and shutting my door. "What on EARTH are you doing here?" I hissed. "I technically have time off, and I wanted to see the woman who saved my life." "Fuck you." "Only if you're asking." He said with a sarcastic smile. "The league is laying low for a bit. After the failed attempt on recruiting your student. And I need a place to stay." He claimed. "Uh huh. I'm sure a homeless shelter will take you in-" "Now is that anyway a hero should act?" He taunted. "Geez, All For One and Kurogiri were right about you: You do have Domino's spunk." He said and I looked at him wide eyed. "Oh poor girl. Do you not know that we know EVERYTHING about you? Aratani Mae Aizawa originally Aratani Mae Takahashi. Daughter of Hana Lee Suoh Takahashi; better known as the pro hero Elementa. Quirk: Elemental Control. Self explanatory if you ask me." He began circling my frozen body, I couldn't move, I don't know what was happening. "And let's not forget about your dad; Shota Aizawa better known as the pro hero Eraserhead; His quirk: Erasure. He can Erase anyone's quirk but just looking at them. Although it gives him dry eye I'm assuming. But I got something wrong just now didn't I?" He continued. I gulped. "You're real dad's name was-" "Please...please stop." I begged dropping to my knees; he paused in his circling. The tears in my eyes were evident. I was whimpering and shaking. "I know. My birth father was a villain." I whispered finally. He knelt down to my level. "Why are you crying?" He asked me. "I wanted a normal life." I whispered again. "Aizawa had me take his last name so I wouldn't be associated with Domino." I explained. "Ya know a chance of normalcy. It didn't work and it never will though." I laughed bitterly. I looked into Dabi's eyes. 'Sympathy?'  I wondered. As soon as it was there it was gone.

"People like you and me; heroes and villains, we don't get normalcy. Unless we leave those lives behind, and start fresh in a new world maybe." He stated. I listened to him. 'Start fresh? Hm...no time like the present right mom and dad?' I put my hand on his shoulder. "Follow me." I ordered. He looked at me blankly as I stood tall. "Well?" I said impatiently. He got up and followed me to the back of my apartment. I grabbed a key from atop the door frame and unlocked the room. I opened it. "You said you need a place to stay right?" I asked. He looked at me shocked. "You're not kicking me out?" "No." "Or turning me in or arresting me." "No and no." I said. He looked at me. "What's your angle?" He said. "No angle. Let's start fresh. You can stay here for as long as you need. I do however have ground rules." I said. "Ugh, of course there's a catch miss goody two shoes." He snickered. I sighed. "Rule number one: Do not use your quirk to destroy my apartment! I worked hard and pay good money to live here. Rule number two: If you need something my room is right across the hall. Knock before you come in I hate when people don't knock. and Rule number 3 and the most important of all: No one can know you are here. I could get my hero license revoked and arrested for basically harboring a fugitive. So, be wise and careful if you leave." I listed. "That being said; I have my ex's clothes here. He never came and got them so you can have them." I said clapping my hands.

(Dabi's POV)

This chick was something else. She turned and walked into her own room, assuming to grab the box of her ex boyfriend's clothes for me to have. I was curious. She seemed eager for me to leave, but now she's letting me stay. She's odd. "Here." I heard her voice say. I turned and she shoved a box of clothes into my arms. "Oh one more thing." She said. She pointed to the bathroom that sat in between the two rooms. "There's the bathroom. There should be some form of male soap in there I think under the sink...yeah." She said. She turned and I noticed something peeking out from under her shirt. A shiny silver scar from what looked like a slash. Who would do that to such a kind girl? I wondered. I looked at the box and frowned. "Whoever this dipshit is. He better pray for his life." I growled. I don't know why, but I felt a need to protect this girl. It's weird because I've never had this feeling, but she's different. I went into the bathroom after picking a set of clothes and turned on the shower.

(Aratani's POV)

"So you and I will switch off during the year? That doesn't seem to bad dad." I said through the phone. "Right. Also just so you know what to do to start lesson plans: We will be getting them ready to get there provisional licenses this year." "About fucking time." I said with a smile. "Right, so for a few days at the beginning of the year, I want you to take a kid or two aside and give them hell. You know what I mean?" He said, a hint of mischief in his tone. I chuckled. "You must not take me seriously daddy." I said sarcastically. I felt a presence behind me and almost choked. Dabi was standing behind me, my ex's pants loosely hanging off his hips but not sagging, The white T-shirt tight fitting accentuating his toned torso, and his hair wet dripping. Holy shit he looked hot. "Aratani? Hello?" I heard my dad say. "Sorry what? I got distracted." I said shaking my head and turning back around. "I asked do I need to check on you?" He asked. "No daddy I'm fine." I said, but my breath hitched when Dabi laid his hands on my hips. "Are you sure doll?" Dabi asked me in my other ear biting my earlobe. I bit my lip to muffle the whimper. At the same time Shota asked me the same question. "Yes daddy." I breathed out, although I wasn't sure who I was answering. "Alright. I'll see you later kiddo." Shota said hanging up. As soon as the call ended, Dabi stepped back. "You asshole." I said as he laughed. "Well now I know a weakness." He said. "Ugh." I groaned.

This better be worth the trouble. He's already got in my head...
