A few periods later and it's finally lunch time.
But today is different, Matt isn't at their normal lunch table with the rest of the group.
Luke tries not to seem bothered and sits with the rest of the boys.
Jordan: "Yoo what's up dude, it's been a while since I've seen you."
That was a lie, which made Luke furious. But being the man he is, he pretended to not be bothered by it and played along.
Luke: "Yeah, how have you been?"
Jordan: "I've been doing good, how has Matt been?"
Luke gritted his teeth together.. he was getting upset. He was so mad and he could feel the adrenaline pumping through his veins. He wanted to punch Jordan and beat him down to the ground. He was about to throw his fist until he realized that everyone at the table had been staring at him.
He put his hands down and walked away with his backpack.
Luke pulled out his phone to see if he had gotten any texts from Matt, but he didn't which made him worry.
The bell rings.
Luke scurries to class. Matt is in the same class as Luke for this period, but Matt didn't show up.
