Trinit, along with the queen, the happy dragon, and the black dragon stood in shock. Let Darkdew control you? That's not what she said, right? She must mean manipulate or something. How would he do that, can all dragons do that? Why wouldn't they tell her that. Nah, dragons don't really do much, oh, well they do kinda CONTROL PEOPLES MINDS.
The queen dragon was the first to collect her self. She looked back at Trinit like, "Did you just you just hear that." Trinit took a step back. Is that why she liked them, even after they took her away and made her loose all her memories? They were controlling her, weren't they. As if the queen had read her mind, she shook her head. She was thinking about running, running away from this mess. That's when she realized.
I can't leave. What am I gonna do? I can't find food, I'll probably become the food, how will I find anyone when there an entire continent to search. There was just no way. She was trapped, but not literally. There was no cage or shackles, she could run whenever she wanted. But she couldn't make it, not alone. The queen dragon seemed to see she was trying to run. "I already lost a child, I can't loose you." said the queen. She gave her a look that said "please don't go." Then her vision started to go blurry. Trinit didn't know whether to be excited or worried. She hadn't had a new memory in months, but she didn't want to be unconscious while a dragon (or dragons) were controlling people's minds. They again, she didn't have a choice.
They were in the village she had seen before, near the stone wall, and it was pouring rain. Those men in uniform held Trinit back. Yuna was standing in front of her, with a sorry look on her face. One of the men who were holding her said, "If you won't repent, well execute you along with the other criminal." "She's not a criminal!" said Trinit. "You're the only criminals around here." "I was helping her escape too, execute me as well!" said Yuna. "No, she didn't. She's trying to cover up for me." The men looked at her skeptically, and Yuna said "No, that's-" "You heard me, I may be a "criminal" but I'm no liar." said Trinit.
Some of the men dragged her away while some of them stayed to hold Yuna back. Even though she was a seventeen year old girl, it took two full grown men to hold her back. One of them took his sword and held it up to her neck. Even though there was a blade no more than a few inches from her, she yelled and kicked. Her screams became fainter as the guard dragged her away. Trinit snapped back to reality.
When she came back to the present, the green and purplish dragon were still arguing through their tears. The happy dragon had recovered from her shock, and was listening to the ongoing argument. As for the black dragon, he was still standing there. He looked like he had just lost his son. He kind of had in a way. Whatever that thing was, controlling dragons, and ending lives, was not his son. It was just some corrupted soul in the shell of what used to be his son.
The queen dragon squeezed through the circle, and walked towards the dragons in the middle. When the green dragon saw her, she looked ready to kill. "And you, you let your son do this." The green dragon said, angrier than ever. "Y'know, for someone who's ruler over two tribes, your a pretty queen when it comes to protecting your subjects." The queen was always serious, or happy, or maybe even sad on "special" occasions, but never mad. Until now. "That thing, is not my son. Nor is he my subject, he hasn't been in the rainforest kingdom for a year and a half." This wa a just too much. The new memories, dragons controlling each other, dead bodies, she needed a way out. And with one big crash, her way out came. After two years, Yuna had finally found her.
