It had been a little while since Darkdew had vanished. Well, maybe not a little bit. One and a half years to be exact. Trinit had grown quite comfortable with the dragons, and life had gotten better. She was actually pretty happy with the dragons, but she just couldn't forget what they did to her. It had been almost two years and she still, couldn't remember everything. In fact, the number of memories coming back to her started to dwindle. And Yuna, she hadn't given up. Even though she liked the dragons, and even though it had been two years, and even though there was the possibility she had been murdered by a dragon, she didn't loose hope.
The dragons had grown so comfortable with her, she wasn't even in the cage. They had built a mini hut, teeming with small flowers, which seemed regular sized from Trinit's perspective. She had a few things in there, her hammock, the wooden ball, and some tiny sheets of paper.
She did still call them by the names she made up, it was hard to learn names, because they probably weren't actual words. But she had learned quite a lot of there their language. She saw the happy dragon's feet coming over from an opening of her hut, which she would've seen, if she wasn't already occupied. The happy dragon was suprised when she didn't run out. The happy dragon lined up her eye with the door of the hut. That caught Trinit's attention. She dropped her mini-scroll and came to the door. "Were you thinking flrble something?" said the happy dragon. Oh, another word. This happened sometimes, but Trinit became pretty accustomed to it. Trinit held up four fingers to show she didn't understand the fourth word. The happy dragon repeated "Were you thinking flrble something?" with an emphasis on flrble.
Trinit nodded and the happy dragon repeated it till she got it. She had to make her best guess at what that meant. Maybe it was about, we're you thinking about something? Yeah that makes sense. Trinit said "about" till the dragon got it. "Yes, I was thinking about something." Trinit said. "What is it, c'mon tell meeeeeeee. Please?" "I-I don't know about that." said Trinit. "Pleeeeeeeeeease?" "You wouldn't say no to this, would you?" she said as she did her iconic puppy eyes. When Trinit still stayed quiet, the happy dragon said "You know, I could put back in that cage." "Hey!" said Trinit as she smiled.
"Fine, well there's this girl..." said Trinit. "Ooooooooooooooo" said the happy dragon. "Did you liiiiiike her?" "Um well, I'm... not really sure." "What do you mean your not really sure?" "Well, I don't remember to much from before I got here, so I only have a few memories of her." said Trinit. "Maybe I do, I'm not sure though. All I know is that I miss her." she decided not to tell the happy dragon that she saw her. "Wait, you don't remember? I-I thought that you just didn't like it there and that's why you stayed here." The happy dragon looked like her world was breaking into a million pieces. "Im sorry, I just wish-"
Just then a towering black dragon with sparkling purple eyes barged in. "Your majesty, we've found Prince Darkdew."
