Real eyes, realize real lies

Hailey walks in my room and places some water on my table. I stare out the window and watch the moon shine. Hailey stares at me and then closes the door.
"You okay?" She asks. I nod.
"Just tired." I tell her. Hailey sits down next to me.
"I've noticed how much you're gone lately. And you don't seem happy." Hailey waits for me to respond but I don't. "Does this have to do with Gus?"
"No." I say. "I just got into a fight with Cassidy that's all." I am hoping Hailey leaves me alone. But she doesn't. She keeps asking questions.
"Hailey I want to be alone." I tell her. Hailey stares at me and then leaves. Right now I didn't want any support or advice. I think I made the right decision, acting like I'm part of the pack. Now I just have to find Cassidy and apologize.
My mom comes in and she looks excited. "Sweetie we're gonna have a pack meeting soon. Announcing your marriage."
I force a smile. "That's great mom."
"Now we have to focus on all the details for the wedding." My mom sits next to me.
I nod. I'm not that excited for all the details. I mean, I am excited I'm getting married but I really don't feel like doing all that stuff.
"Hey mom, am I involved in my pack? Like, do I pay attention to it?" I ask and my mom blinks at me.
"Of course you do." She touches my shoulder. "We all stick together. And doing this also is a big part showing you're a true member."
That's what I thought. So I did make the right decision. I grin.
"Thanks mom." I tell her and she walks out. But then I realize I do have to be all dedicated to this wedding. After all, it is my first wedding.
After this, I decide to go jog. I jog around the forest, causally checking on the little house Jake is currently at. I should go visit. I then stop. No, I can't visit him anymore. I have to be true to Gus...but why would visiting Jake not make it true? I don't know...I mean we did kiss. I continue to jog and totally ignoring the house. I glance at the window and notice Jake just came out of the shower. His hair is wet and water falls down his body. I look away quickly and start to run. Instead I find Gus a few blocks away. I walk to Gus.
"Hey." I greet. He looks up.
"What are you doing here?" He asks concerned. I shrug.
"Just a jog."
He nods and I wait for him to say anything but he doesn't.
"Don't you want to continue your jog?" I stare at Gus. Was he serious? I shrug and decide to just jog away. Gus didn't say anything to me. Barley. Whatever. Once I jog back home, my parents tell me it's time for training. We head to the forest where we usually have meetings. Bunch of female werewolves are there and they're setting up the training. It's pretty dark now and unlikely any one would come here. Some werewolves transform into wolves and start battling another werewolf (which is part of the physical training).
I then spot Cassidy by and quickly walk to her.
"Cassidy!" I call. At first she doesn't notice me but then she does and quickly tries to walk away but I stop her. "Cassidy please, we need to talk."
"I don't want to hear it, Miranda. Go find someone else to babysit your human." She sighs angrily and pushes me aside but I grab her arm.
"This isn't about Jake." I tell her and take a deep breath. "I've been thinking about what you said, and you're right. I don't know what was going on with me, but I decided to be more close to my pack."
Cassidy first didn't believe it and rolls her eyes but I plead for forgiveness.
"I swear he won't get in my way with being with my pack."
Cassidy finally thinks about it and grins. "I could never stay that mad at you." I grin.
"Friends?"
"Friends."
I smile and pull my sport bra lower a bit. A black sport bra and shorts are our uniform. "So what's first?" I ask. She smiles.
"Running skills." Cassidy and I have always loved to run. It was one of the many things we were good at. We run far from the forest with some other werewolves and pushed the branches out of our way. Sometimes they scratched many hard since they were in our path. Then we stop. Stopping was also part of the training. We run back but this time go to the peak that's pointing up but not that up. Its a few feet up from the ground but we could take it.
Once we were half way to the peek, me and Cassidy exchanged looks.
This meant we have to get ready. One..two...three! We jump off the peek and transform into wolves. I spread my paws out and fell on the ground. Perfect landing. Most of the werewolves got out of our way and we continued to run. I see a little bit of my white fur go back but I try not to focus on it. I look back a little noticing Cassidy is right behind me, her brown like fur shining. I am now leading the werewolves.
