This is what Alex would look like. Thank you for reading my story! Sorry if there are any spelling or grammatical errors!

I let out a deep breath. That was exhausting, I thought to myself, I really need to get back in shape before track season starts.

I had just finished my morning run, and it was tougher than I expected. I calm my breathing and begin to walk up my driveway. Not even to my door yet, I hear the arguing of my brothers and sisters.

Just another day in the Mitchell house, I think bitterly to myself, "what else is new?

With my sister, Angela, here at the house, tensions are high. She pretty much ran away from the family and her siblings, but she thinks we're just holding a grudges. But that's a story for another day.

I open the door then make my way up the stairs, saying hi to my brothers, Jackson and Matthew, as I pass their rooms. I shower and change into my clothes, which is our school spirit wear. I grab my backpack, slide down the stair rail and head to the kitchen. I see my brothers arguing, (probably about something stupid) and shake my head and smile to myself. I grab a protein bar and a piece of my brothers pop tart -much to his complaint- and hop up on the counter to start eating.

"What are you guys still doing here? You're going to be late for school!"

I turn around to see my mother frantically handing us our lunches and ushering us out the door. Matthew hands me my skateboard and the three of us start to ride down the sidewalk to yet another year of school. I glance to my left to see Matthew and Jackson talking to each other and decide to join the conversation.

"What are you guys talking about ?" I ask loudly, trying to get their attention.

"About what sports teams we're signing up for this year." Says Matthew.

"What are you thinking about little sis?" Jackson says smirking.

I look up and scowl at them before replying. "I'm definitely doing basketball again, because last season was great. So was last volleyball season so I'll probably try out again. Victoria will kill me if I don't go out for swimming again with her, but I'm planning on trying out anyway. I'm doing track, but by the looks of my morning run, I'll need to get back into shape. But I mean, I do have to keep my Honors Society status for the third year in the row, so I need to focus on my studies also. College level classes aren't easily learned you know," I say turning my head to smirk at them.

"Ughhh," Matt groans, "We get it, you're smart and athletic, you don't need to rub it in." Jackson rolls his eyes and nods, agreeing with Matt.

"Oh please, like you don't brag constantly about your numerous basketball championships, or your"-signaling to Jackson- "numerous football achievements."

"Touché." was Matt's only reply. I smile at my small victory and then realize that we are arriving at school. We skate up the walkway, then go our separate ways.
