SOPHIE POV

Above is what Sophie would look like (not all the time of course) Thank you so much for reading and I apologize for any grammatical or spelling errors.

I woke up and my eyes flutter open slightly to see light streaming in through my pink curtains.

"Ughhhh," I groan and I roll over trying to go back to sleep. As I'm about to drift off again, there is a sharp knock at the door. "Ummm...who is it?" I ask slowly sitting up.

"Miss Kensington, I was sent to inform you that your breakfast is almost ready." says Wilfred, my butler.

"Thank you Wilfred, I'll be down in a little bit after I shower and change."

"Yes Miss Kensington." He turns on his heel to leave and starts to head back downstairs, the floor boards creaking slightly creaking beneath his feet. I groan as I get up, having to prepare for the first day of school.

C'mon, I told myself, you're the captain of the cheerleading squad, you have to be peppy.

"Go Dolphins." I mutter under my breath, and decide that's the best I'm going to get until after my shower.

After I shower, I get dressed in my cheerleading uniform and a jacket then dry and curl my blonde hair before heading downstairs for breakfast.

I see me chef, Renaldo, cooking eggs and bacon and my maid, Mary, is setting the table.

"Are my parents home, Mary?" I asked hoping they would see me off before my first day of school.

"No Miss Kensington, they left early this morning for London."

I sighed, of course they weren't home, they never were. They didn't even tell me they were leaving this time. Why had they left her in the company of the maids and butlers? My closest friend at the house (actually mansion) was Wilfred. Yes, even the butler came before her parents.

I should probably explain. Yes, before you ask, I'm Sophie Kensington. My parents are Oswald and Jane Kensington. People always rave about how nice they are and how kind hearted they are, but I wouldn't know because they're never around. So I pretty much live with the maids and butlers.

My pink phone buzzed in my jacket. Hunter had texted me. I smiled to myself as a blush crept across my face as I read his text.

Hey Soph! I miss you 💙 I can't wait to see you today

He knew how lonely I was in the mornings and always tried to help.
Hunter Cunningham was the football star that I had a crush on since 4th grade. At the end of last year, he had finally got the guts to ask me out. Everything, accept the whole parent situation, was getting better and falling into place. This year was hopefully going to be better than the last. This year was going to be spent with my best friends, I'm captain of the cheerleading squad, and Hunter and I are finally together.

I know what you're thinking.
Wow she only cares about her relationship.

Well actually, that's not the case.

It's just that I'm usually the matchmaker for everyone else, (though some are unsuccessful) so it's good to have the relationship this time. Maybe this year Brittany will leave us alone. Let me explain, Brittany West is your stereotypical queen bee. You'll definitely meet her later.

"Miss Kensington," I hear, effectively snapping me out of my thoughts. "Your limousine is waiting outside to take you to school." I sigh. Wilfred was set on having me pull up in a limo to school everyday. I smiled slightly and Wilfred and threw him the keys of my old Impala and he smiled lightly at me in return. I grab my bag and head out the door. Well, here goes nothing.....
