𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐈 woke up at the early hour of the morning, stretching her arms out, yawning, confused when she felt the presence of somebody's arm under her body, slithered around her waist. she turned her hesd to face towards the 'mysterious' person, before internally slapping herself for how stupid she really was. she fell asleep at her ex's house! cuddling with him! well, you can cut the girl some slack considering her ex is her childhood best friend, but still!

the brunette girl slowly but surely released herself from ricky's embrace, already missing the warmth it radiated onto her. she made sure to leave a note on his bedside table, just incase he wondered where she ran off to, and also reminding him that everything would work out one way or another, and only fate can decide so he should try to stop worrying to the best of his abilities. oh! she also added that he can call her anytime he is feeling anxious or upset about, well, anything really. and with that, she snatched her phone from the edge of the bed, slipping her feet inside her shoes snd heading for the door. as she was running out of the door, she tried to power her phone on, soon realising it was dead, so she pulled out her handy portable charger, and charged it for about 10 minutes, whilst she drove off to a nearby coffee shop, not even giving a single piece of attention to the time right now. when she arrived at the cute little coffee shop, the frazzled girl took her phone off charge and found herself a small, cornered off table before ordering her coffee and breakfast. she pulled out her phone to check for notifications and- holy hell.

𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐈 finally parked in her driveway, after treating herself to a much needed coffee run, seeing all of the lights off in the house. she furrowed her eyebrows, but then checked her phone to see it was only 8am on a day where no one had work or school, and people in her house usually woke up around midday on these days, well, except for her and mama c; they always woke up earlier than everyone else. she gathered all of her belongings and walked her way over to the front door, using her key to unlock it and then relock it behind her.

"I'M HOME!" she shouted just incase anyone was awake, but the only thing she heard was stumbling noises coming from her sisters room, assuming she shot up and out of bed as soon as she heard nini's voice.

before she knew it, emma was tripping over almost every step on the staircase, eventually making it down without falling and then wrapping her younger sister in the tightest hug she was sure she had ever experienced.
