Given the circumstances, he couldn't exactly complain. The doctors were doing all they could to save her life. Reese was the toughest, the most fiery woman he'd ever known, laying on a hospital bed. Her skin was pale, nearly translucent with all the abrasions resembling almost like a tattoo on her skin. Looking at her state made him want to run as far as he could at the opposite direction.

He believed in her. Trusted her. Not wasting a second of losing a better chance of seeing her, again.

For the past few days, he hadn't left the hospital room and he wasn't planning to, either. He was sitting on the uncomfortable chair beside her bed but he never wanted to move until she would regain her full state of mind. He did try talking to himself, knowing he would probably hate it but it didn't matter.

He would stay. For Reese.

"Be by my side, will you promise me?" He whispered as if he was afraid of the unknown aftermath. "I'm sorry, I love you, please forgive me. I never meant it." He continued to begged, interlacing his fingers into hers and held unto the faintest hope of her return. "I want you to stay. Please come back. I need you."

But life was so unfair. Random. Cruel. And the thought of exceptionally beautiful had slowly withered.

The change had soon begun when she had finally opened her eyes, looking at him with those same eyes that he fell for. It was like a magic spell, no, rather a curse that was casted uponー

Fate be changed.

This fanfic is purely a product of my own imagination.

I've already published this book last April 2015 but have to unpublished it because I wanted to make a full revision of the previous chapters.

The book isn't complete yet. So far I've published around twelve chapters. I was even surprised I've gain so much reads on it's first few chapters, no lies. And for that, I am grateful enough for the reads, votes, comments and your full support.
