Presley leaned against Milo, who could tell by the tear stains on her cheeks that the conversation with Charles had not gone well. Without a second thought, he wrapped his arms around the shorter girl. "He wouldn't even listen; Jaspar has completely gotten to him." She wept.

Milo scoffed, but he wasn't surprised. He had seen through the American actor the first time he had met him, and it was safe to say that he had never warmed to him. It was likely the reason why Jaspar had tried to stop Presley from seeing him, that and he never liked the way Milo looked at his girlfriend.

She took a step back and briefly looked up at Milo, whose face was bleak, but his eyes were shining as usual. There was a comfort to his blue eyes, but he clucked under her chin to draw her eyes to his. "This is his loss; you are the most incredible, strong, and beautiful person I have the pleasure of knowing." Milo gazed as a grin came across his face. "I'm sorry I wasn't here this morning; Scarlet was having a freak-out."

"Why didn't we get married instead." She laughed, although perhaps there was truth laced in her words. "Besides the obvious," Presley added, referring to the further problem of Juno Anstey.

"Have you heard from her?" Milo asked with fear creeping into his brow, but Presley shook her head as she slipped her hand into his. "Figures, I hope you two patch things up, even just for the sake of the business."

Things had been so hectic that the thought of their joint business hadn't crossed the designer's mind; after all, Juno didn't contribute much to the day to day running or the actual designing. Her strength was the social media strategy and digital operations. However, Presley could hire that elsewhere.

"I think she's going to sell her share of the business; at least that's what I heard through our lawyer." Presley pointed out. Milo started rubbing his thumb into the palm of Presley's hand as they made their way to the Haas garage. "Sucks, though; she's my best friend." She shrugged.

A significant part of Presley was mourning the end of her friendship with Juno, but she also knew that if the blonde would just come to her and explain her actions, then Presley would most likely forgive her. This was her best friend, they had known each other their whole life, and they had grown together, but perhaps they weren't forever friends.

The brunette wondered when their friendship began to sour because it was long before she had caught Juno and Jaspar together that evening. Presley had even forgiven her for that, and not long after that, the blonde had started dating Milo. Although neither of them said it was serious, looking back, it would appear that perhaps this was just another thing manipulated by Jaspar.

Milo pulled his friend in and kissed the top of her head as they walked into the Haas garage to celebrate with the rest of the team. Presley's dad jumped for joy with Mick Schumacher, dually celebrating with Sebastian Vettel. They had both scored points for the first time this season, and the younger the German even ended up on the podium.

As soon as Mick saw his friend, he beamed and beckoned for her to come over. Milo stood on the side to capture the moment on his phone as he knew that they would both want to share the celebrations. A bead of sweat was on the young German's forehead, but he wiped it away with the towel around his neck before engulfing Presley in a hug.

He lifted her off the ground slightly. "I AM SO PROUD OF YOU!" Presley announced and drummed her fists into his back in jubilation. "This definitely deserves celebration drinks." She told him as she kissed his cheek.

Mick nodded, "I'm so glad you were here to witness my first podium," He smiled as he put her back on the ground. "It means the world to me."

She chuckled, "Me too, Schumi; now why don't you go finish celebrating with the team, and I will meet you at the hotel?" Presley suggested to the agreement of the blonde.

He ran back over to his engineers but looked back once with a smile that could rival Daniel Ricciardo. Presley knew that it was a total fluke that she had been here today but seeing him on the podium made her wish she had attended more races.

Presley was about to walk back over to Milo, but he was no longer at the back of the garage. She scanned the rest of the faces and even went back into her father's office, thinking that perhaps they had a word together. However, Milo was nowhere to be seen.

Suddenly she felt two hands on her shoulders, and a yelp left her lips. "Hey!" She buzzed as she turned around. "Oh hey, dad, you scared me," Presley told him, but her dad just laughed.

He raised a brow, "Well, thank god that something still scares you." Guenther smirked before giving his daughter a hug. Presley was incredibly happy for her father, she knew he had seen some tough years with this Haas team, but things were finally looking up. "I hope you weren't going to skip out on the team photos; I know Mick would like you to be in it."

Presley hadn't even thought about them. "I'm not part of the team?" She pointed out with a weak laugh, "But, I'll never say no to a picture."

Guenther nodded, "That's my girl, and we'll get dinner tomorrow so that you can tell me all about your chat with Charles, or lack of one." He said sincerely. Presley was not looking forward to this conversation at all, especially since she knew that her father would most likely want to speak to Charles himself, and that was a can of worms she didn't want to be opened.

"Do you know where Milo went?" Presley asked as she walked out to the front of the garage to where the photo was being taken. "He was talking with Seb when I last saw him," Guenther replied, and just like that, both Sebastian Vettel and Milo appeared from the side of the garage.

They both looked in good spirits, and Sebastian patted the top of Milo's arm before coming towards Guenther and Presley. "Sorry about Charles, I will speak to him," Sebastian informed them both.

Guenther thanked him and instructed him to get into the picture. Mick waved Presley over to sit next to him in front of the sign that read SCHUMI P3. She sat down on the tarmac, and he threw his arm around her.

Standing in front of them was Milo Crusoe taking a photo of the celebration with admiration on his face. His smile was crooked, but he bit his lip as his eyes were fixated on the brunette in the middle of the shot.

Mick leant over to her when he caught her looking at Milo with the same dopey smile. "You know, 'just friends' don't look at each other like that."
