Charles held onto Presley's hand like she was the first place trophy. He felt so proud to have her at the race this weekend that part of him didn't even care where he was, although Charles wanted to be P1 so he could dedicate the win to the brunette.

"And this is where you and Juno will sit," Charles pointed to two comfy-looking desk chairs with personalised headphones already attached to computer screens. "When she's done getting Arthur's tour." He added before twirling his girlfriend around.

Presley smiled as she took it all in. This was a big deal for her to be here, and she was determined to make the most of it. Her father had only checked in twice in the last two hours to ask if she was sure she wanted to watch from Ferrari. Bless Guenther, with Mick now at Mercedes, he felt that his daughter would never return to Haas.

Next, Charles took Presley to the driver's lounge, where Max Verstappen was currently on FaceTime with his Fiancee Scarlet. He was likely trying to get as much video time with their newborn son Henry before the race. They waved at Max, who has dressed already in his race suit.

Charles had qualified in P2 behind George Russell and ahead of Mick Schumacher. His teammate, Max, was in P5 after a lap error, but he was sure that the Dutchman would end up on the podium. Bahrain was always fun as it was a night race, and the environment was incredible.

Presley pushed Charles down onto the bed and straddled her legs over his as they made it to his driver's room. His hands steadied on her waist. "What's this for?" Charles panted as he licked his lip. "I don't have long; I will be called for warm-up soon."

Presley placed her finger over his lips and shook her head. "I just wanted to wish you good luck" She winked as she pressed her lips against her boyfriend. It was a soft and gentle kiss. "And I love you."

This made Charles feel warm. He had waited so long for Presley to be at Ferrari, kissing him in his driver's room. Everything was beginning to click into place, and he was excited about the future.

"Wait, what is that in your hand?" Presley asked. She watched Charles place something down onto the side of the sofa.

Charles smiled and picked it back up. "It's the cork from the first bottle of wine we had. He revealed to a confused Presley before explaining that he always kept it in his glove box and took it all of his races for good luck. Before every race, he would take a few quiet moments and rub it before placing it back into the box.

"Wait, so that's what Arthur told me to look in your glove box for," Presley laughed and told Charles what his brother had messaged her one day.

Presley loved that he kept it. "You are just, I really do love you, Leclerc." She grinned.  "I wish I'd have gone with my heart... because you never left it... and I know I hurt you..."

Charles shook his head. "You weren't ready for me!" He remarked. It was warm, and sincere. "And maybe I wasn't ready for you..."

Now that was a remark. Presley chuckled but she knew what he meant. Charles hadn't been ready for her chaos, and yet he had loved her anyway.

Joining Presley and Juno would be both of his brothers, Arthur and Lorenzo. It was going to be a good day, and all he needed to do was win. Of course, that was easier said than done, especially against George Russell. He finished runner-up in the World Championship last year. Now that Scarlet was retired, the British driver would surely be a contender for this year.

The only real competition, however, for Charles was going to be Max. The Ferrari was on fire during Pre-Season. Although everybody knew Mercedes would come to Bahrain with a super upgrade, Charles fancied his chances this season.
