"Mum, where did you get married?" Jules asked over the Leclerc family breakfast. The 10-year-old had a glass of orange juice in her hand as her eyes darted between her parents.
There was a slight giggle from her teenage brothers, who quietly tried to scoff at their breakfasts as quickly as possible. Today Senna Hamilton was coming over to play, and that also meant that Uncle Lewis would be here, and the Leclerc kids knew that every time he was here, they would be getting new outfits.
Charles grabbed his wife's hand, "Your mum and I got married in Napa Valley, the same place we had our first date," He smiled, gazing at his wife.
What seemed like yesterday was now nearly 10 years ago, but the love between Charles and Presley couldn't be more robust. They had grown together, their lives blended as they brought up their family of four – although Presley still wished for baby number five.
Jules tilted her head and looked at her parents. "Was Uncle Milo at your wedding?" She innocently asked, "And Aunty Juju?"
Presley nodded and shared a picture she had on her phone of herself and Juno at the Leclerc wedding. Presley was dressed in her first evening gown, Juno in the silky lavender maid of honour dress, and Grandpa Guenther looked slightly confused in the background.
"What about Uncle Lewis?" Jules pressed as she looked to Milo, who shook his head with raging eyes and then looked down at his breakfast. "And Dan Dan?"
Charles wasn't entirely understanding the line of questioning from their only daughter. Clearly, there was a point to what she was saying; there always was, but Charles didn't understand right now.
"Of course, they were there, Uncle Lewis was in the wedding, and Dan Dan was the DJ...for a couple of minutes," He chuckled, looking to Presley, who shared his amusement.
The Napa Valley wedding of Charles and Presley was incredibly anticipated throughout the F1 community. To Charles' surprise, Celebrity culture...although he didn't see himself as a celebrity even if the rest of the world did.
When it came to the wedding, Charles had really just followed Presley's lead. She made most of the decisions, and he wasn't sure how many to pick when it came to his groomsmen. Instead, he let Presley choose her bridesmaids and then decided on the same amount.
Presley had chosen Juno, Scarlet, Beau, Emma and Ashley, so Charles went for Arthur, Lewis, Milo, Pierre and Max. They walked down the aisle in that order mainly because Daniel had promised Beau that she would one day walk down the aisle with Milo, and Max had made a similar with Scarlet about Lewis.
"And Carlos?" Jules contemplated, "Didn't he film the wedding... It's just a saw some old clips on YouTube?"
