The next morning I woke up feeling heavy and stressed, I truly didn't want to go to school, I forced myself to get out of bed to get ready, I ate an apple and started to walk my way to school, I was trying to gain confidence while I walked so the day could go on a little more normal.
Once I arrived school I walked directly to my locker and saw my admirer's note inside, I smiled at it, and took it immediately.

I looked back inside and found a purple hair clip on top of my books, I smiled and placed it in my hair immediately I store the note back inside, feeling a little hurt and disappointed

While overthinking I grabbed my books, someone tapped my shoulder all of a sudden, I jumped in my place and looked on my right to find my friend Jack

Jack: Where were you yesterday? I didn't see you the rest of the day

Jack: What about lunch?

Jack: We didn't see you in lunch and we were worried
Yn: I...well I- I forgot my lunch so I went and ate something out

Mark walked towards us

Mark: Does any of you have aspirin?
Yn: I think I might have some in my locker, let me check
I turned around and opened my locker, I searched around being careful of not dropping the note to the ground and be suspicious about it, once I found it I handed it to Mark.
Jack: Why'd you have aspirin in your locker?
Yn: Math gives me headache
Jack chuckled and Mark swallowed the pill
Yn: Why did you need aspirin, Mark?
Mark: I'm so done with that Kirsten girl; she never stops talking and my head hurts
Jack laughed a little and then looked at me
Jack: So, did you become friends with her?
Not exactly
Yn: I...I made up my mind and well- it's better if we stay like acquaintances
He nodded
Mark: I can't stand her anymore, she's flirting with Albert all the time, Jake also got tired of her
