I don't have enough words to describe how amazing the rest of the day was, I would need a hundred dictionaries to find all the right words, we spent the rest of the afternoon walking around, hugging each other tightly, kissing for no reason at all, making silly jokes and talking about non important things, I was happier than ever, all my insecurities, pain and stress were gone with the wind, when the night came, Albert walked me home like usual, I walked back inside my house with my heart racing like a maniac, and I couldn't help but smile, I went to the kitchen to drink some water when I heard my dad going down the stairs, he appeared in the kitchen and smiled at me.

Dad: There you are!

Yn: Hello!

Dad: How was your day?

I wanted to tell him everything, but then decided to wait for the right moment

Yn: It was great

Dad: That's awesome but uh...

Yn: Yeah?

Dad: So... I lost my tennis racket and-

Yn: Why'd you need your tennis racket?

Dad: I needed to kill a spider but that's not the point-

I laughed

Yn: So?

Dad: I looked for it in your room and...

Yn: Mhm?

I said looking at him, he was serious and suddenly I felt intimidated

Dad: I found this box in your closet-

Oh shoot!

Yn: Uh-

He then crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow

Dad: ...It was filled with love letters

Yn: I can explain!

Dad: Yeah, I'd love if you could explain, Yn

I laughed nervously and told my dad the whole story, it took like thirty minutes, he listened carefully to every detail, as I spoke, I started to pray for him not to get mad because I didn't tell him, we were used to tell each other everything.

Yn: ...And that's why I was at the park...with Albert

Dad: ...Wait so-

Yn: ...?

Dad: Doesn't that mean you're dating Albert now?!

Yn: Well-

Dad: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-

Yn: Dad!

He laughed

Dad: Hold on a second, you didn't get my permission!

I panicked

Yn: Uhm...? Can I get your permission?

Dad: You don't need my permission to date him, you know I ship it!

I laughed

Yn: Thanks?

Dad: But! You're grounded

Yn: What? Why?!

Dad: You went to the park to meet a stranger! Who knows what could've happened?

Yn: But it was Albert the whole time, there was nothing to fear

Dad: Still dangerous Yn! You didn't know who it was!

Yn: But nothing happened! And there were more people in the park! If I had been alone, I would've left I swear!
