All the stress that was being held in my muscles left, it felt as if I all the bones in my body disappeared letting me sink in peace

I looked at Mark and then back at Jack

Yn: That was an amazing idea!!

Mark: I know right? The speaker- everything- unforgettable!

Jack: Everyone will think twice before believing Kirsten now!

Maia: About that... Where did she go?

Albert: She ran away

Kaden: Some dude followed her with a concerned expression

Mark laughed

Mark: Well, let him comfort her, I'm sure she learned the lesson

Yn: Now we can sit and enjoy the rest of this field trip-

As soon as I finished that sentence the two teachers who were still staring at us with their mouths wide open, blinked and one of them shouted

***: MARK FISCHBACK, JACK MCLOUGHLIN AND JAKE GREEN YOU GUYS ARE IN SERIOUS TROUBLE

I looked back at Mark, he went pale and gave a look at Jack who had gulped with panic, Maia blinked and looked at her boyfriend who was the only one with a nervous smile, the teachers walked towards us.

Mark: Uh-

***: What you guys just did to your classmate Kirsten is unacceptable!

Jake: Uh-

+++: That's called "Bullying"! You guys are in serious trouble!

...Is she serious?

Jack: Uh-

***: And when we go back to school you guys will be suspended, just wait until the principal hears this!

My friends exchanged worried looks, the two old ladies looked at us with a death stare and after some seconds of silence and tension they were about to turn around and walk away but something inside me snapped and I said.

Talk for once and for all.

Yn: Do you realize how unfair this is?

I said firmly and walked a few steps closer to them, I could sense my friends staring at me with confusion, the teachers turned back around to face me.

***: Excuse me?

When she said that I thought twice before opening my mouth again, but an impulse inside me made me keep going.

Yn: She did something terrible to us, worse than playing an audio in front of the class

***: You guys played her private conversation to make fun of her-

Yn: We defended ourselves! She has been manipulating and using each one of us for a while now, spread rumors and even threatened me, and you think that what we did was bad?

The teachers looked at me and frowned

***: Watch your tone miss Ln, would you like it if your classmates ruined your privacy like that?

Yn: Would you like it if someone ruins your relationships and mental health for no apparent reason at all?

I said sarcastically, she opened her eyes at me and frowned

***: If you guys had such trouble with miss Kirsten you should've told the principal

Yn: That's the problem, the principal won't do anything about it, nor will the counselor or the teachers, you know why? Because this system about "Hey everyone let's be friends!" as if we were fricking Backyardigans doesn't work among teenagers who just can't stand each other!
