Yesterday, right after Mark and I finished our ice cream he walked me home and we waved goodbye, that night I almost didn't sleep, I couldn't stop thinking about what Albert texted me earlier, I had a terrible internal debate about whether to text him back or not.

The next morning I walked to class with my head in the clouds.

Is he mad at me?

He can't be mad for something like that, that's stupid

And why is he mad in the first place?

I walked inside and followed my usual steps to my locker, I was about to open it when someone shouted my name, I moved my gaze to the right to see Jack running towards me, he seemed hyperventilated, excited and somehow exhausted at the same time, I started to examinate his face for a few seconds, he had purple bags under his eyes and his nose was red. He ran until he was in front of me and took a deep breath

Yn: Are you okay Jack?

He inhaled deeply

Jack: Yes, I'm fine but, don't open your locker!

I frowned in confusion as he recovered oxygen and started to breath normally again.

Yn: Why? What happened?

Jack: Remember what I told you yesterday?

Yn: Uhm...?

Jack: That I would be here early?

Yn: Oh yeah! What happened?

Jack: I went to bed really early, I woke up at four in the morning and I arrived here at five, I'm hella tired Yn you owe me one!

I started to get euphoric while Jack talked

Yn: Why did you wake up so early?

Jack: I needed to make sure I was the first one here Yn!

Yn: And? What happened? Don't stop! Tell me!

Jack: Well, the school doors were still closed, they opened at six and a half, I was the first person here

Yn: And then?!

I was jumping from excitement

Jack: So I walked around a little to make sure I was the only one in school

Yn: Keep going! What happened?

Jack: Well after I made sure no one was here, I stood in that corner waiting for people to arrive

Yn: And?!

Jack: When the clock hit 7 a lot of people came in, the younger students walked around and stuff, but no one got closer to your locker

Yn: Uh huh?!

Jack: And uh, after some more minutes Maia arrived, she asked me why I was here so early and I just lied and said that I thought that I was late, then she left to her classroom because she had homework about chem-

Yn: Go to the point!

Jack: Okay! Okay! Well after some more minutes, Jake arrived, he didn't get close to your locker...then Kaden arrived

Yn: Don't tell me its Kaden-

I said as my heart stopped and my face dropped

Jack: No! Yn don't be stupid, we both know Kaden's way too dumb to do such thing

I laughed a little

Yn: Then?

Jack: Uh- Kaden went to his locker and his clothes got stuck with the door of the locker-
