40. D.O. : Bestfriends no more

me and kyungsoo were bestfriends before EXO was put together, the both of us would sleepover at each other's house as a kid and would have the same taste of music. Now, it all has been very complicated lately. Kyungsoo barely has any time for me because of his busy schedule and also barely calls me when he is away touring probably around the world and this frustrates me even more.

finally, when he was back in Korea, he comes over to my apartment giving me warm hugs and talking about his EXO life and also mentioning how much he misses me and leaves after 30 minutes because apparently he's too busy. i admit that i can't believe you have feelings for this 15 year-old-looking 22 year old, i always feel older when i'm around him. People around would say "Aww, is this your little brother?" which clearly offends me, and also...him

I called Kyungsoo. (A/N: you, D.O. )

"D.O.?"

"Oh, (y/n)!"

"D.O. i was wondering if you'd like to grab dinner today?"

"Sorry, i can't. I'm having dinner with the boys and also have practise-"

"Seriously?"

"What? What's wr-"

"I haven't seen you for two years D.O. and you can't even make time for me? i'm your bestfriend for goodness sake!!"

"I know, i just really can't right now"

"Don't even know how i feel towards you? i freaking like you D.O.!!"

there was an awkward silence between the conversation

" You what?"

"It doesn't matter. Go have fun with your friends! BYE!" you quickly hung up and cried silently in the corner.

After that tear-dropping incident, i decided to watch my favourite show, eyes swollen from crying until i heard my doorbell ring and once i opened my door, it revealed D.O. standing outside giving me a weak smile,

" I thought you were-"

"I didn't"

He smiles wider and pulls out a rose behind him, "i'm sorry" he apologises, i took the rose, pouting. "well, i'm sorry for yelling on the phone" his hands grab on your shoulders, "hey, it's okay and also i brought chinese thought you'd be hungry" i smile at him. "and..i also, like you" he says shyly, i snorted a little. "it's not funny okay" i smiled like an idiot, he finally steps forward and cupped my face and slowly placed his lips on mine.
